   I got in touch with just jents 6 months ago looking for someone to help cut my little boys hair he’s 4 with autism and sensory processing disorder and was terrified of getting his haircut wouldn’t tolerate the noise of clippers and couldn’t get him in the door to a hairdressers/barbers! Our first visit with Karen was amazing she made us both feel so welcomed and took the time to understand his likes and dislikes. After his 3rd cut he was able to sit in the chair with a gown on and after his 5th cut we introduced clippers! If it wasn’t for finding karen I don’t know how we would’ve got his hair cut she really takes the time to get to know your child is so patient and understanding and is forever learning about ways to help your child have the best experience even when it’s something they highly struggle with. I can’t believe the difference in my little boy never would I thought we would be able to get to this point and I highly recommend anyone who has a child with additional needs/struggles with haircuts to get in touch and give them a visit thank you so much for now making the barbers an enjoyable experience for my son.

   Absolutely awful display from both women working here, I was in for a cut with my 10 year old boy who has long hair and is sensitive about it, the two workers couldn't stop talking to other boys getting cuts about how bad it would be to wake up on Christmas with long hair, also taking about how they knew a little boy with long hair and everyone thought he was a girl. We have been fighting this for years and today you put us right back with your outdated attitudes to the point my child was in tears thinking he had done something wrong, you both should be ashamed of yourselves. 1/10 wouldn't recommend especially if you have children and definitely won't be back for my boy to be bullied about his hair from a hairdresser

   I always go to Karen after looking for a hairdresser when I moved into Rutherglen, after a few bad chops with different hairdressers, Karen welcomed me with open arms and had to address the butchering of my crown. I’ve had my haircuts done at Just Jents ever since and leave very happy every-time. I’ve had my haircut also done by her colleague Tracey when Karen isn’t in/is busy, who is always fantastic and leaves me with a very nice and clean cut. Just Jents in Rutherglen is hands down the best place for a haircut. From the second you walk in, the vibe is super chill and the staff are really friendly. They actually listen to what you want and make sure you leave looking amazing every time. I got my hair cut and styled there recently, (See photos) and I'm obsessed with how it turned out. The attention to detail is next level, and they really know how to nail any style you ask for, whether it’s something classic or trendy. The shop is always clean and has a cool, modern feel. Plus, the prices are totally fair for the quality you get. They even give you great tips on how to keep your hair looking fresh between visits. I 100% recommend Just Jents to anyone in Rutherglen. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every haircut. If you want to look and feel your best, this is the place to go. 10/10

   DO NOT GO IF YOU WANT YOUR HAIR TO LOOK GOOD Women more interested in chatting than anything else. If not told they’ll be with me in a minute I would have left. Watched someone get a haircut for 30 min and I was in the chair for less than 10 min which definitely isn’t enough time for a haircut. Told the woman exactly what I wanted and she didn’t do anything I asked for. When I pointed out how much she’s taken off in some areas she rudely said that’s just my hairline as if I’m just bald there even though there was hair before she cut it?? Worst haircut I’ve ever had I cut my own hair better during lockdown. Keep your money, n go elsewhere unless you happen to know them i guess. Lots of 5 star reviews from palls i see. So much for that big board of lies written in red huh? And cutting hair since 16yo?.. legit had to cut up to existing lines ? It was as simple as it gets, no fades nothing.
