   Linwood Asda - Guy and Beard. At first I was hesitant incoming as I normally stick with what I know and a high quality service. But I decided to go for it! The lad was actually covering and is from Toryglen area I'm sure he said. Not much chat but that's fine he's there to give a service. I asked for a mid skin fade. The cut I have received and how it was cut was very poor, and it's not consistent at all with your others shops. My mate goes to the one at silverburn and I've sat and watched how they cut hair there and the experience I got today was definitely not that! I'm actually fuming at myself for evening trying a new place, but the barbers actual technique was all over the place alongside his attention to detail. I was in there for 21 minutes and even at that I've had enough haircuts to know that's not even time to give a quality skin fade, especially when it's £25! Contacted Guy & Beard for a resolution as this guy needs re-trained! CM

   Been going here for about a year, convenient place to go being right next to Asda and no complaints about service. Always get a great haircut and usually not there for long. Can obviously be busy at weekends and evenings, particularly when schools go back and 6000 kids need their hair cut. I usually go at lunchtime through the week when its much quieter. Great wee place.

   Been using Guy& Beard at Linwood for about a year now. I've just left the unit (27/04/23), after receiving the worst haircut I can remember. After telling the guy I wanted a mid height skinfade and actually pointing to where on the sides I wanted it....he proceeds to take it up as high as he could at the sides. He was a new barber to me but after having lots of cuts in there, sometimes with guys I hadn't seen before, I didn't think I had anything to worry about. His style of barbering, and I use that term loosely, was so rough and without much care or attention to detail. The haircut itself he managed to rush through in around 10 mins, might tell you how much he cared about his instructions or what he was even doing. I'm not normally one for posting complaints, but I will not be back!!!! £19 for the pleasure, and it is the first time since I started paying for my own haircuts that I have not left a tip. A truly terrible service. I would have rated it as zero stars but had to give it at least 1

   After previous good visit, I went again at 7:30pm on 28/02/2023, the place is meant to be open until 8pm. On my entry I was told that the place is closed, however the barber was cutting his beard and looking at their teeth in the mirror just seconds before I entered. Then they closed 25 minutes before the official closing time. Unpleasant experience. Very disappointed

   So rude, wow. Walked in there and the (Turkish?) chap cutting someone’s hair didn’t even look up. I said “hiya” and he made a sound. He didn’t say he’d be with us in a minute or say we could have a seat outside or whatever so after standing inside awkwardly for a few minutes (there’s no seating) we just left. What an extremely strange man. Maybe he’s new to the country or can’t speak English but he has no manners or people skills. This was at Linwood Asda 20/07/22 at 15:15 if the owners want to check the cctv.

   Charged me £14 for my 10 year old sons haircut. Was not very polite or talkative at all and was pretty rude to other customers who were asking questions about times. Used this brand of barber before at Braehead and will not be back to either. If you wondering why your business is not doing well.....look at your prices and staff attitudes.
