Nail tech number 5 did my nails for Christmas and I can’t get over how well they turned out! I am in love with the set and she did really good! Recommend her to everyone!
The salon itself looked amazing, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, I was quite disappointed with the hygiene standards. None of the technicians were wearing gloves or face masks at any time, and I noticed the massage/scrub pot was being used with bare hands — something I found unhygienic, especially considering the potential contamination and infection risk between the tech and clients who may have infections or small wounds. It's not just safety for the client but also for the tech that got me really worried. I also saw the cuticle clipper being “cleaned” right before use with just a couple of sprays of what I hoped to be at least 70% alcohol, which didn’t give me much confidence in proper sterilisation. I know for a fact that spraying a tool with 2 sprays of alcohol does not actually do much sterilisation. It needs to be soaked in alcohol and wiped with a clean cloth between each client. While the nail surface looked smooth and polished mostly, the shaping wasn’t as precise as I’d hoped, I honestly feel I could’ve done a better job at home. On top of that, I still had bits of cuticle left on several nails, which was disappointing as it made the overall finish look a bit untidy. Overall, the experience was mixed: the salon itself and the staff were lovely, but the hygiene practices and attention to detail definitely need improvement. They kept asking me if I was happy with it but I honestly just needed to get out because the health and safety/cleanliness made me extremely uncomfortable. I'm not looking for a refund or a redo, but I am advocating for proper health and safety and cleanliness, and lowering the risk of infection or any transferable diseases through cuts and wounds.
The service was absolutely 10/10! I booked a same-day appointment and they were so accommodating. I got to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee while having my nails done, which was such a nice touch. She did a fantastic job on my nails – I’m super happy with the result. The shop itself is really clean and pretty, and the customer service is so friendly. Overall, a 10/10 experience all around.
The first time I went to get gel extensions (08/12/22) I had an appointment, they made me wait for an hour and then did my nails a rush, I had a few questions and concerns while she was doing them and I was reassured and told she’d do what I asked for. The day after I realised the gel was quite bumpy, the shape wasn’t what I asked for. Exactly like I feared. I gave them a second chance, got an appointment on a Saturday morning at 10am (07/01/23) thinking they’ll have more time for me and no rush. I was clearly being treated by a person in training that wasn’t really understanding what I was asking for, while I was getting a picture from my phone to show the shape I was told off by the manager for wasting time. At some point the manager swapped with the other girl to kinda fix things, doing it very fast a bit in a rush because she had other clients. For the colour I was sent to a third person, she started doing it, very patchy and with little bits in it that I could see, so I asked and the manager came to fix it. Again she did a better job than the other girl, but in a rush. At the end she asked me if I was happy, I just wanted to leave at that point and it looked fine. Got home and with a better light I saw that it was a very poor job. The lengths are different, the shape is wrong on some nails, I can see the gel/glue on the sides and the gel colour is put approximately. Not worth the money.
Absolutely love this place. Went today with a friend of mine and the girls where so lovely. We had great chats while my nails were being done and she gave me exactly what I wanted and more. She really understood my vision and was checking in with me every step of the way to make sure I would love them and I absolutely do! She was so fast too! Would absolutely recommend this salon. They also offer so many other treatments as well as nails. 10/10. Go there now!!
Absolutely love this place and highly recommended. They are so professional and caring. I had terrible gel on my nails needed to be removed and they have done their best to ensure I am happy with the new gel on my nail. Thanks Tooran jon!
Wow i was so blown away with the service and attention to detail, making sure I got exactly what I asked for and checking in with me the whole way through, all the girls were just lovely.They made me a coffee during my pedicure witch was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend and definitely be back.
Absolutely love this place- my gel extensions and nail art are gorgeous. Lovely staff, really relaxed and welcoming and they are amazing at what they do! 100% going back again.
