   I purchased a room divider that was so thin it would not stand up requested an exchange or refund and was refused. Very poor attitude towards me and bad customer service. Disgusting attitude, do not buy from here.

   The female manager in the store, hands down, provided me the worst customer service in my entire life. She was rude, grumpy, patronising, seemingly angry at me for using two coupons, even questioned me: “where did you get your second coupon?” as if I committed some crime. Also as the manager, she didn’t know how to operate the computer system, even didn’t know how to do a simple refund, needed to call someone for help every time she tried to do something on the computer and then blamed me for wasting her time. I will never step my foot in that store ever again. The furniture and their products are lovely though. If I ever buy anything else, I will go to their website.

   The customer service at The Futon Company in Edinburgh has always been fantastic. I was struggling with back pain from an expensive mattress, but after purchasing one of their futons with a firm side, I've noticed a significant improvement. It's been a game-changer for my back health. Highly recommend!

   Bought three items from the Suratto collection (low drawers, bookcase and chest of drawers). At least a third of wood panels are chipped and/ or with visible glue marks. Instructions are confusing, screw holes are misaligned and there’s no way of fixing it cause the food is too fragile to drill through it. Some parts were damaged or missing and I’m currently waiting for the replacement. The company used to produce good quality furniture but, unfortunately its customers, it’s no longer the case.

   Just bought the most fantastic package of the Platform double futon base in elm with deep-sleep mattress and two fitted tatami mats from the wonderful Edinburgh store on Lothian Road. I am absolutely delighted with the bed and had about the best sleep in years yesterday after it arrived! Lisa at the store was SO helpful and knowledgeable, and I also bought two matching Platform elm bedside tables on special offer! I can't recommend this store and its products highly enough! Nicholas

   Fantastic service from Lisa and her colleague at The Futon Company in Edinburgh. We discovered their furniture at a York holiday let we were staying in and we went straight out to buy a sofa-bed for our own house from them afterwards. Very comfortable and great build quality. We also purchased a great desk and shelving unit.

   Ordered 2 of their largest tatami mats in store. They had to be ordered in but took less than a week to get delivered to the store. Was offered a delivery service for a reasonable price but declined due to living near by and had my own means of transporting them. Staff where friendly and very helpful. Happy to by from them again in the future.

   I have bought some lovely furnishings from this shop and had a couple of bargains in their sales. The customer service is exceptional and the manager and her assistant couldn't be more friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of the goods are very craft driven modern functional and practical for modern studio flats. Thank you so much to the two ladies who made me feel a valued customer. Can't wait to visit them again.

   I had bought many furniture from Futon. They were expensive but I loved the design and never had any major problems. This was not the case with my latest purchase (orbit chairs) From the start I could tell that the material of the legs was cheap, and yes they broke after 18 months (light use) I asked the company for replacement (or to buy the faulty parts in a reasonable price) and they gave me a quote of 150 for new legs and the rotation disc for two chairs.... NO THANK YOU Other Product Type

   Very poor quality product, arrived damaged with faulty construction. They don't do refunds so was delivered an upgraded model of the Twingle. The sides constantly fall down meaning it doesn't function as a couch with sides as intended. The build quality is extremely poor and it started to fall apart quickly. After just over 2 years of light use as a glorified futon the frame is ready for the skip. Even the futon mattress is poor as the "buttons" sewn on to the fabric are sewn on so tight that if one gets caught it rips the fabric. A complete waste of money and useless product.
