    I used to purchase the room sprays however when I went to the store today the atmosphere was awkward and unhelpful. Both assistants just stood there and gave me some strange attitude. I put the product back and left which was followed by them stating out the window in shock. I would rather spend my great British pounds elsewhere. Time and tide -do better. Especially in a recession where people really value their time money and energy. Your loss may seem small for 1 room spray but I wonder how many people have had the same experience as me. And kept them from buying your stock..

    Visited in store and bought over £1000 of furniture, it has taken 3 and a half weeks and still has not arrived with no indication provided of when it should arrive and staff implying I am at fault for the delay for not responding to communication from the courier, of which there has been none. Still waiting for my furniture, no idea if it will ever arrive, don't buy from here if you need to have the items delivered!!

    A huge Thank You to Laura! We visited the store while traveling and fell in love with some wall art, but due to our tour arrival/departure times they were going to be closed before we could get back to buy them. I was so happy when I called the store and got Laura who was so kind to take my order via phone, prepared it all so someone else could pick it up for me, she even packed everything up so it would be safe on the plane ride home! Super service and a beautiful store - if I could have I would have bought so much more stuff for my house! They have such beautiful things!

    Visited this shop while in Edinburgh for the first time, attracted by the shopfront - was pretty decided to buy something to take home as a reminder of my visit to the city, until I asked the person in charge of the shop what time they closed today - the tall bald guy with glasses responded by asking me "Why". Puzzled by his answer, I responded by repeating his question: "Why?? Because I'm going to an Edinburgh walking tour now & would like to continue browsing later today?!". He seemed put off, turned away to continue arranging things & answered with his back to me "6 pm". Guy needs a vibe check & to sort out his attitude problem. I left as I'm not giving my money to someone who's rude to me - unreal.

    Garry was so helpful and arranged delivery of items, which arrived with no problems. The shop in Cockburn St,Edinburgh, has a lovely feel when you step through the door. Not often in Edinburgh but would definitely visit Time and Tide again, when looking for something special for my home.

    Yesterday I visited Time & Tide in Morningside to return a face vase, the gentleman who served me that I returned it too asked did I want the smaller one, I was unsure but thought yes I will take it, again I asked if it's not suitable for where I wanted it to stand could I return it, HE SAID THIS IS A SHOP WE SELL THINGS & DONT GIVE THINGS OUT IN APRO! I was taken aback so I said I will put the small vase back & just have a refund please, he went away for a few minutes when another customer in the shop came up to me to say it was terrible the way he spoke to me & was appalled but she wanted to know I was alright & she would have done the same thing, she then walked out of the shop. He then said give me your credit card I advised him I paid cash. I did get my money back& I told him about the other customer what was said. I have bought a throw from Time & Tide in Cockburn St, I have bought candles from Time & Tide in North Berwick & the sales assistants in theses shops gave an excellent service. I must add the Lady assistant who served me on Thursday was very very helpful.I was disappointed in the way he dealt with this.

    7-9 Church Hill Place, Edinburgh. I visited this store on Thursday to purchase some outdoor furniture. This experience was one to the worst I have received in the City. The tall bespectacled assistant (very loosely termed) was grumpy, unhelpful and down right rude. Had the purchase not been a present for my daughter I would most definitely have taken my business elsewhere . I will not be back.
