   I have just collected my two Ercol armchairs from Peter. I inherited them, and they were crying out for new upholstery. I am so so pleased with the result. Peter knows his trade inside out, and is so talented, and knowledgeable. He called round to the flat to see the chairs to assess them; I went to the shop and with his help chose a gorgeous wool fabric. He fitted in the job at a time that worked for us. The quality and and attention to detail is outstanding.Honestly, top notch job. I knew it would be - Peter had previously put a new seat on a much loved small cane-backed armchair, which I am also delighted with.

   I have no hesitation in recommending Be Seated. Peter has restored a favourite Vicotiran armchair and has exceeded my expectations of bringing a very battered and well-used piece of furniture back to life and made good for use for many years to come. Peter was generous with his time helping me choose an appropriate fabric and arranging for samples to be sent to me. Peter's care, expertise, workmanship and attention to detail are all exceptional. I will certainly use Be Seated for any future upholstery work.

   Delighted with our Carlton sofa! Peter took the time to discuss fabric choice and incorporated style adjustments to suit our specification. I was also able to check the comfort and look of the sofa before finalising the upholstery. A beautiful bespoke piece of furniture which I am sure will look good and last for many years to come.

   I’d totally recommend Be Seated. We were searching for a new sofa to replace our existing one but couldn’t find one we liked and didn’t want to buy one online without trying it. We went to Peter who has reupholstered it and it looks fabulous. Advice and choice of fabrics is excellent and craftsmanship is too. So happy with our new old sofa.

   Peter has just transformed a vintage Guy Rogers 3 piece suite which had been neglected for many years, and a similarly well worn Edwardian Chaise Longue. Peter's craftsmanship is just superb - the workmanship on the chaise longue, which was quite an intricate piece, is just exquisite. He did a fantastic job. Not only that, he responded to my initial query very promptly, took the time to discuss each piece in detail and advise on fabric, and the entire project took around 5 weeks from collection. Can't recommend him highly enough.

We're thrilled by Peters work and now have somehing which will be an enduring pleasure. We were mired in indecision initially and Peter gave us time and advice which proved most helpful.    I have just taken delivery of my sofa which has been reupholstered by Peter at Be Seated and I am totally thrilled with it.. The sofa was a family heirloom and had seen better days. Peter has lovingly restored it to it's former glory whilst giving it a modern and contemporary feel. The attention to detail is amazing and I would have no hesitation in recommending Be Seated and will definitely use them again in the future.. A gem of a find!
