   We were absolutely delighted with Ediwood who designed and fitted our bespoke media unit, corner bench and bookcase along with installing cedar cladding cladding the outside of our new extension. The service was excellent from start to finish. From the high quality quote with CGI'S and professional advice from Anna and Erdei to Tamas's great job carrying out the work (in sub zero temperatures) was really fantastic. Can't recommend them highly enough.

   I tried all the standard 'fitted', 'customized' companies and none could give me what I wanted. Ediwood took my wish list and created exactly what I wanted with some positive suggestions on how to improve it - all on a budget less than the most expensive of the national companies. The workmen were exceptional - polite, skilled and completed the work in a tidy manner. Rare skills!

   I first met Zoltan when he worked as a finishing joiner on the complete refurbishment of a period flat conversion that I own in Edinburgh city centre. The project had lots of intricate woodwork and needed more than just a typical joiner - someone with really excellent woodworking skills. More recently he has made a new panelled door for a vestibule, a decorative cupboard to hide a gas meter, lovely stained doorway thresholds (to match an antique balustrade/handrail), and rehung/adjusted and draught proofed doors. He is polite, courteous, always full of ideas and sound advice, is very neat and tidy treating your house like his own, and always gives his customers really great service. His prices are always competitive, he is super reliable and trustworthy and I bet he could make anything out of a piece of wood and it would be beautiful. Alastair Cameron

   Of all the cabinet makers I contacted, Ediwood provided the most personalised service and the finished product was excellent. The owner, Zoltan, measured out space under the stairs and returned a quotation with some details 3D diagrams of what he was going to do. We liked the design best and the price was very competitive. Zoltan kept in touch throughout the process and his employee Ian who did the work was very hard working and efficient, especially given the walls and flooring were not completely level. Even after it became apparent the drawer was touching the floor when fully loaded due to a bow in the floor, they came over the next working day and it was fixed.
