I stumbled across Zaatar one morning whilst visiting Bristol and I am so glad I did, I had the shakshuka which was amazing. It was so well seasoned, so comforting and perfectly done, as a Persian girl it is so lovely having food which tastes like home! My boyfriend had the Irish breakfast which was also so delicious, he was very impressed. We would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience. Lovely little restaurant in a great location. Went in for a moroccan tagine, then noticed the specials board with several phenomenal Persian dishes! We ordered the fesenjan (chicken in pomegranate-walnut stew), zereshk polo (barberry rice) with chicken, ghormeh sabzi (herb stew with red beans and beef). It was amazing! My Persian mum would have been quite happy!! Thank you so much for that surprise taste of home! ❤️

It was our 3rd time to visit and each visit was always pleasant. This time around we ordered breakfast. The Black Stone bacon with eggs and gooey, melted cheese was absolutely satisfying. Good coffee too. Order large and you get a massive cup. Everytime we eat there, I would always ask for their harissa which is really so flavourful and, yes, very spicy. Good service. You might want to lengthen your patience during busy days; it's worth it. The place is small, with only several tables and a few outside. Overall, always a good experience.

This was my second weekend in a row at Cotham Kitchen for brunch, I can't get enough! The menu is extensive and affordable for the large portions they serve. I had the salmon breakfast last week and the shakshuka today. My partner also tried the "chicken lunch" - all of which were amazing! Can't recommend it enough ☺️

Went here with one of the people I support and we were treated amazingly by the family that runs the place, the mixture of classic breakfast dishes with traditional middle Eastern food is great, will definitely be back. The eggs royale was great!

Can be a little chilly so wrap up warm.. but it's totally worth it for the food. The breakfast is second to none. Great presentation well cooked with no grease. The harrisa with honey makes ketchup look dull.

Very courteous owners. Lovely Afghanistan couple who only opened a couple of months ago. I cannot recommend this place high enough. Friendly service from the second we walked in. I ordered a smoothie which was made with fresh ingredients and tasted divine. I had the smoked salmon breakfast and some hummus, was delicious and very filling. I will definitely go back to try the evening menu.

Really lovely place, we just had breakfast and are really satisfied ^^ especially for the bacon, which is grilled and not fried. Look at how lovely it looks.

Great food and very friendly service. We had the vegan sausages and halloumi, both came with chips and salad.
