   Ordered some floorboards dispatch said 2-3 days. They confirmed the order was ready to be sent out, took then money and then took 2 weeks to tell me that they actually couldn't get it to me, only after I started calling. Wasted 2 weeks waiting on them to get off their arse and tell me they couldn't do it.

   Went to the showroom for to buy some skirting. Excellent and very helpful customer service. Skirting was delivered very soon after and is looking great! All in all great customer service, pricing, and quality. Very happy to recommend.

Staff are very attentive and helpful for both trade and domestic customers and Timber is great quality. They offer a cutting service if you need which is really handy.    Excellent first experience. I needed a plywood board, cut to size. Arrived bright and early on Saturday morning to be greeted by a very friendly and helpful assistant at the counter. Board ordered and paid for and . . . was ready for collection within 5 minutes! Incredible service, and at a fair price. Could not be bettered! Many thanks Shawfield.

   I ordered 7 oak doors online through Shawfield Timber in late January, what they had in stock was delivered within 2 days. The other out of stock doors had to come from XL Joinery, these were delivered the following week. Unfortunately one of the doors was wrong type and this wasn’t picked up by myself at that time. The carpenter had to delay fitting for a couple of weeks due to COVID-19 and it was only then that the mistake was noticed. I contacted Shawfield Timber and spoke to Nicola and explained the situation and asked if there was anything that they could do, fully expecting to be told that it was to long after the initial delivery date. But Nicola contacted XL Joinery on my behalf and sorted the delivery and return of the wrong door early the following week. I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly and helpful customer service from everyone that I had contact with but a special mention must go to Nicola for going above and beyond to help. Thanks for everything you’ve done. I would definitely use Shawfield Timber again.

   I have been in a task looking for very specific skirting boards and am really glad I came across this place. They have a very good selection of high-quality natural wood exactly what I was looking for . Prices are competitive, staff are very knowledgeable, and helpful.
