   Not long moved to the area and have visited Cumbernauld branch a few times now. Felt I had to point out the lovely service I received today from the young lad Lewis who served me. I wasn’t aware of the Toolstation club but he explained it to me and helped me to save 5% on my purchases. Any savings right now are welcome - so thank you. I’ll no doubt be back again soon.

   The absolute worst service have ever had from toolstation, the guy serving me was to intent on listening to a conversation his colleagues were having , rather than to what I was asking for 3 times I had to give him the product code , he then asked to see my fone as he kept typing in the wrong product code , and despite me telling him I required 1 of the item 4 times he asked me again how many, at this point I told him just to leave it , when I was leaving he sarcastically shouted out " bye now, have a nice day , miss you " . Not professional, very rude . Deeply disappointed with the lack of service. It doesn't matter how much you get right, it is this type of action which defines you as a company , very silly when screwfix is only 25 metres away

   I didn't receive a notification that my order was ready for collection however called the number and was told as it was my first online order I had to set my privacy preferences to receive texts. The person also told me my order was ready for collection. Went to collect and staff at Cumbernauld Toolstation were friendly, polite and very helpful. They even carried my order out to my car for me.

   Refused me a refund on £25 tin of paint as it was over 30 days since purchase. B&Q refunded no bother. Never use Toolstation, customer service does not exist and zero stars would have been too much. I will never ever shop here again and will tell as many people as possible to avoid this company. Very poor.

   Obviously comparison is to screwfix, toolstation is just as good. Somethings are cheaper in toolstation, some in screwfix. I find the tool station website a bit worse than the screwfix one but I prefer the ease of click and collection from tool station (none of this checking in nonsense that screwfix has). Staff are friendly and helpfull, store is clean and welcoming.

   Useless company. Can't just pay and pick something up without setting up an account. And then once it's set up, can't log in. Then the stuff I wanted was sold by the time I got to checkout. Useless. Rang for help, phone line goes dead. Lost a customer.
