Felder AD 741 . This is the first time that I have bought from WS Wood machinery and will not hesitate to buy from them again the service and communication were exceptional I cannot fault them regular updates and even a video with the machine running . Thank you !
I ordered a burner from Walter at WS Machinery. He visited my workplace and advised which burner would be best to suit my requirements. I told him that I would like the burner to be outside, and for it to blow hot air into the store. He said this would be no problem and all that I would have to do is cover it to protect it from potential sea air damage. Trusting his recommendation, I paid the deposit and he ordered the burner. When the burner arrived, it was completely different to what I had ordered. There was no summer dump, and when I switched it on it blew out cold air instead of hot. The two men who were there at the time to fit it said that was the best I was going to get. Unhappy at this, I contacted Walter who said that was not the burner he ordered or paid for, and that he would sort something out straight away. By this point, I had fully paid for the burner. 2 years later, still nothing has been done to resolve the issue and he is just sitting with my money for nothing. I contacted the people directly who actually make the burners and told them everything about my situation and the burner that I had been sold. They said that I would have needed one at least three times that size and that they would have never sold me anything like the one I got. Following this, I tried to call Walter multiple times which was unsuccessful. I did however reach a lovely lady that works for the company, who was disgusted in the way Walter had handled this. The company that made the burner are not willing to stand up in court and say what they told me over the phone, even though they say that Walter hasn't paid them for making the burner yet. They instead told me to try selling it online for a couple of thousand pounds as that is all it's worth. Walter charged me three times this price. This man has just conned me out of thousands of pounds. He also went away with one length of vent pipe which I have never been reinbursed for. I am extremely disappointed in this service and strongly do not recommend ordering from this company.
i recently purchased the edge banding machine , as per deal the engineer needs to come very next day to run it and train the worker but its been 2 weeks nobody turned up , i wont recomend them
Purchase a edgebander the WS, who also took in my old machine as part ex, the whole process went without a hitch and would recommend them to any looking to purchase wood working machinery new or 2nd hand
WS is just THE BEST and in my opinion THE ONLY company that you should be buying machinery from. We have purchased a few machines now from Walter and the machines all work brilliantly. The best thing about WS is the amount of help, guidance and service you get AFTER you have purchased any machinery. Always on the other end of the phone to help at any time. Can’t rate them enough in how helpful and how amazing they have all been and continue to be for whenever you need them. This will be the only company that we use to get any machinery.
Excellent company and excellent service. A great place to call if you are looking for the best deal. I have noticed that 2 reviews above are from the same company, and it looks like they were designed to damage your company. I find this is unjustified due to the service and quality of machinery you provide. Google has guidelines to prevent this sort of thing happening. Using multiple accounts to leave multiple negative reviews about one experience with a business is against Google's review guidelines and should be flagged for removal. I am not an employee of W S wood Machinery, but I do know that in this industry the people that leave 1-star reviews are the ones that abuse the machines by pushing them beyond their limitations and then blame the seller for their faults
A company that goes above and beyond to offer an excellent service from start to finish. Knowledgeable advice, providing quality woodworking machinery along with great after sales follow up. Will definitely contact again for my next machine.
This is a disgusting company on how they treat people who buy equipment from them especially when the bandsaw is faulty also their customer service is nil and void sent many emails and recorded delivery letter after a good few months still no response i wouldnt recommend this company to anyone

I purchased a machine from here costing almost £20,000 and paid £500 for installation and training. The training was an absolute joke, the "trainer" had no clue how the machine worked and left the machine in a state that wasn't fit for purpose. Unfortunately as the machine was new to us we were unaware of what it should do until we started to use it, I contacted them to tell them that it wasn't set up properly and that it kept giving error codes. I was told by Walter Scott Junior that it was basically tough luck and I'd have to pay a further £500 to have somebody return. He kept repeating how I had signed for the machine so they were covered. I've struggled with it for almost a year whilst still under warranty until now it breaks down each time it's used, I've rung and told them and he said he would get back to me, still nothing and I've called back twice. Don't expect any sort of customer service from them unless you are in Glasgow as they will not travel or stand by their warranty without shelling out £500 each time you need them. A truly disgusting experience
