   After placing an order on Saturday morning and paying for a 2 battery and charger combo, I checked the status of my order on the following Monday morning. Your website said my order was processing. At the same time I could see that the same item was still available to order. Around lunchtime I received a refund of my payment into the bank account. I had heard nothing at all from Powetoolsuk. I called after again checking the status of my order - it was still processing. I was told over the phone that you had run out of the item ordered. I explained that the item was still available to buy that morning and asked to speak with a manager. The manager did not seem at all interested and restated that you had sold out. I asked if orders had been fulfilled in the order they had been received and he did not answer. How can a business run an online sales system that allows customers to order products that are not in stock ? As of now - Tuesday afternoon - my online order still shows as processing ! Terrible customer service. I certainly would not buy from you again but I had planned to place further orders before this experience.

   Made all my purchases in store, was guided through what suited my needs best and couldn't be happier with the products. They're also great at helping you get your warranty sorted with proof of purchase etc. Highly recommend going in and talking to the guys in person.

   Bought a Bosch circular saw, cost £230. I go to register it online for the free battery and find that the saw is 4 years old and has already been registered to another user. Not happy, no manufacturer warranty due to its age. Written to complain, but be aware, thankfully I haven’t used it so I will be returning and talking to my card company.

   Abysmal! Received broken item. Provided photos to show damage / fault. Was asked to return using premium recorded post and my expense. I replied to verify information as I required them for a job and was completely ignored for 4 days. I followed up with another email and 3 days later received a response with no apology. I have since bought another set from Amazon which arrived next day and notice they are a different design and do not have the defective part that Power Tools supplied. So I now have a faulty pair that I paid over £6.00 delivery for and have requested a full refund and that they cover the return postage. No doubt they’ll ignore me but I’d recommend steering clear. Terrible customer service

   Had a fantastic experience with Power Tools UK. I had ordered an item that I had put in my online basket for a couple of days, any way I ordered a Milwaukie Calk gun after working hours. And before 10 am the next morning I had a physical phone call from a David explaining it was out of stock and was on back order for a couple of days. I know these things happen as it is common in Automotive sector so not too bothered, Any way David called me every day to update and I felt looked after the whole process. Thank you for keeping me informed. Gary

   Stay away people terrible service. ordered items then 7 days later I asked where they where to be told they had not been dispatched yet will be looking at 12 days before receiving. I explained how I wasn't happy to which Leslie began being rude over the phone and threatened to cancel my order, I asked to speak to a manager and was passed on to Martin who again was rude over the phone and said again he can just cancel the order and that there under stress and that they have to "cut corners" don't know what company says that, worst customer service stay away people.

   Excellent company. Ordered a DeWalt Combi drill and impact driver twin pack (with 4.0ah batteries) on Easter Sunday. Not only was the price the best I could find, the item was shipped very quickly considering the bank holiday period (received Thursday). Also, couldn’t fault the customer service; spoke with Audrey on Thursday morning who was looking for my order. She kindly called me back after finding it and advised the item was already out for delivery that day. Will definitely use this company again.

   I brought tools from this company they then used my card details to steal three sums of money from my account. I spoke to a Martin a director of the company and he apologised and promised to refund the money and explained it was a new member of staffs mistake. No refund was made i managed to get one payment back through my bank and have to take them to court for the rest. They have stolen just under one thousand pounds. My advise would be to have nothing to do with this company they are thieves, i had to put a star up to post this but they would be minus 5 stars.
