Medical care was efficient and accurate Reception staff need to up their game Rude Unfriendly To the point of hostility No welcome No smile No sense of welcome But she did manage to cheer up when her colleagues arrived for a chat Its really sad that this is the experience at this hospital Patients may often feel vulnerable attending for treatment and being kind is easy. Kindness was missing here.

If I could give it zero stars I would. After getting there at 8:10 followed by an hour and a half wait they said they couldn’t even see me because “they can not drop everything to help”. They were rude and condescending, while also giving no information or help. I have never had a worst experience in a hospital and that includes watching 3 of my grandparents die in an American hospital.

Went into the Hospital today to collect a Application form and possibly be seen by the doctor if there was any availability as I am in a lot of pain due to my foot (shall spare the details). However, as a student who has recently arrived at the area I had missed the matriculation week and needed advice. I went to the receptionist - who was on the front middle purple desk, she was petite and had blond hair - she was working 4:30pm 2nd October. When speaking to her I was greeted with an extremely harsh tone and she abruptly kept telling me that the hospital wasn’t a walk in service - I already knew this hence asking for the papers to register. Her attitude declined during the conversation and when she walked away from her desk I asked her colleagues what her name was… shortly after that she returned to her desk and she would refuse to give her name away… I explained to her that she had been extremely arrogant and rude to myself who is not feeling great and in a lot of pain, she tried to defend herself but her defence was comical - she knew she had been rude, dismissive and arrogant towards a patient. I left feeling very upset and angry at this interaction with this member of staff …. during my next visit I will take it up with someone of status. Having worked in a customer facing role myself - last time I checked - it doesn’t have rude, arrogant and disrespectful in its job description. Extremely disappointing- especially for a hospital who prides itself of helping and enabling people.

Went there with a painful thumb on Tuesday, explained to receptionist the reason but she did not think I would be seen as I had not cut myself and had to go and check if I would be seen. Completed form and seen by Nurse and assessed. Treated with respect and given a treatment plan thumb straightener. Thank you for your help and support. Alan Armour RMN RGN CPN Retired.

I had to leave work today due to knee pain and struggling to walk. It was suggested that I go across from work to minor injuries to be seen to. I hobbled to the desk and I explained that I was told to come over and that I am struggling to walk due to the pain, the receptionist was very very rude and told me that they would not see me and that I need to contact my GP. Fair enough but there is a way in talking to people. From someone who works in care, having empathy, being polite, understanding etc is key. Did not experience any of this. Why have a minor injuries? They keep preaching about the pressure on GP surgeries, A+E etc but you end up not knowing where to go, an absolute joke.

Diisgusting service. I was feeling exceptionally bad (stomach cramps, diaarhea, fever) and they wouldn't be able to provide anything. NOT ANYTHING! Just sent me away after being very rude and not understanding of the fact that I'm a foreigner. Even in Kuala Lumpur, the hospital services are better (I speak from experience).

Located next to Morrison's supermarket, outskirts of St. Andrews. Fife. Modern Building. Pharmacy on site. Helpful, Pleasant, Staff. Not as big as Ninewells hospital. Disabled access, wheelchairs at front door. Free parking, disabled parking. Also out of hours service available NHS 24. Aldi, Mark's and Spencer, Morrison's supermarket. Barnett VW garage. Fuel station.

So because I arrived at 6:05PM instead of 6:00PM, I need to go to Dundee to get my dislocated jaw fixed? Also I need to buy a UK phone and call 111 when the NHS is literally standing right in front of me? Hilarious joke there, get some sympathy in yous

When I had a severe back injury the hospital diagnosed muscle spasm. They refused me an x-ray or other test. Weeks later I remained in intense pain.Eventually seen by a physiotherapist who arranged for me to have an x-ray. It showed that I had a serious crush injury to a vertibrae in the middle of my spine. I required an operation which was carried out in Aberdeen Royal as Ninewells or Victoria couldn't do the op.I have permanent back discomfort.due to having the wrong initial diagnosis. When I complained to the hospital I failed to even get an apology.

Very clean and nice facility; it's a great place for a scheduled in advanced routine appointment. Unfortunately there is a staggering shortage of doctors and extreme rigity in service; some appointments such as OB take up to 3 months to schedule. No ER, little parking, and closed on weekends it's a far cry from a full service hospital
