Always use David’s dry cleaning! Pressed my dress within 24 hours. Took amazing care with that particular item of clothing and always do.
I have been using this cleaners for over 20 years now, and would never go anywhere else. David is so friendly, accommodating and will go above and beyond to help. I have recommended him to friends and family down the years, and those who have taken garments to him, have always been happy with the service received.
The customer service I received for my evening bag was beyond exceptional. David had also fixed the strap which was wholly unexpected. You get a proper gold service. Thank you so much.
To further add to my review below, the difference in my wedding dress that Dry cleaning by David ruined. Both photos taken by professional photographer. Left photo a few months ago in NYC, right after David had it in his shop for 3 weeks, failed to dry clean in time and returned it looking like this. Dress colour ruined, turned grey. Shop refusing to help, address, refund or take any type of accountability.
BRIDES BEWARE!!! Ruined my wedding dress. I dropped my wedding dress in 3 weeks before I was due to wear it at my home party. I was told by David he would need the next few weeks to get the train clean as I’d wore it in NYC. He give me a collection date for a few days before our party on the Friday. When I went to collect my dress and the suit 3 weeks later, David turned around and said “how important is your dress” which seemed a very strange thing to ask a bride about their wedding dress. Then proceeded to tell me they had forgot to dry clean the dress but I was assured he would have it done for the next day. Odd as it was made out to be a big job initially but then could be done in a day. Once I got home with my husbands suit and shirts, we immediately noticed the shirts still had big makeup stains all over them. We contacted David regarding this and had to take them up to be re-done. Collected the dress the following day which was wrapped in the plastic with the garment bag. I left the dress hanging up to ensure it didn’t crease before the party. Luckily I had a second dress for the day of our party as the weather was warm. I ironed this and then went to place it inside the garment bag with my wedding dress, that’s when I noticed the immediate difference in colour of my wedding dress to my 2nd dress. I immediately took my wedding dress out of the bag and tried it on when I realised my dress was now a very dull shade of white, almost looking grey. My husband advised it must be the lighting, we opened all the windows and blinds to check and that’s when we notice the large yellow stain on the chest of the wedding dress that was not there previously. The dress only ever had dark marks on the bottom from walking around nyc. This is happening on the day of our party, just a few hours before we have guests arriving. We had to call David again in regards to this, which is now the THIRD problem we have had with the services. I didn’t want to give my dress back to them as I felt like it was completely ruined with the whole shade of the dress being changed but I needed the yellow stain out of the chest so I could show my family members the dress (who had travelled over from Northern Ireland and Scotland for our party) and get a few photos with them. I didn’t get my dress back until an hour before the party started. Save to say it completely ruined our whole day as I spent the morning crying and feeling uneasy the entire time I was getting ready wondering if I could even wear my dress. As I mentioned before luckily I had a second dress that I wore for the night after getting a few photos in my wedding dress with family but a dress that made me feel so so special has now been completely ruined by David. He offered to dry clean it again after the party but I do not trust him with my dress as you can imagine. We asked for a refund instead for the extremely poor service but he became extremely rude hanging up the phone on us several times. I have already warned all my clients that are brides about this place as I would not want them having the same experience I had and now it only feels right to let everyone else know given the circumstances. Please avoid.
I took my duvet at 8.30am when they opened and he washed my duvet for me and had it ready the same day He closed at 1pm but kindly called me at 4 and said it was ready to pick up So kind of him as he knew I didn’t have a spare duvet so did his best for me He’s a lovely guy and I highly recommend for not only good customer care but for the price and how clean my duvet comes up…like brand new Thank you

I cannot praise this company highly enough. My husband dropped of my two pair of curtains to be altered on Thursday. They were ready to be collected on Saturday morning. David was so very polite and professional. I had priced around and David's was the best. I would certainly recommend this company to everybody and will use them again.
