   Of the many reasons I prefer to shop in Tesco, it's bright, the aisles are wide and they tend to keep things in the same place so I know where they are. I just don't understand why Tesco's petrol stations that are not too far from each other, and this goes for every company, can vary in price so dramatically! I think that this needs addressing.

   Just a note that the Tesco staff at Craigmarloch are lovely people. For example, yesterday I was pondering the best way to lift a bag of compost at the entrance. Debbie (who I later found out works in the cafeteria) was passing on her break and immediately offered to help me with a smile. They actively go out of their way to be kind and helpful. Many times when paying I have noticed the cashiers take extra time with the elderly, recognising them from past visits and chatting. As I wrote earlier, lovely people and unusual to find so many of them in the one workplace.

   It is a great shop, community orientated, and a pleasurable experience. However, the cafe is an entirely different experience. The regular female staff member is far from customer focused, rude, confrontational, and disrespectful. A recent visit with my elderly parents was to say the least, uncomfortable. After a 10 minute wait with no other customers around I asked if I could be served, and she replied aggressively,I only have one pair of hands. She then brought the slice of toast to the table 15 mins later ,almost throwing it down. Couldn't believe it. Said nothing at the time as it was clear it would have escalated and wanted to avoid that for the sake of my very elderly parents. It's such a shame that the conduct of staff in the cafe detracts from the lovely local shop that it is. This refers to Tesco Craigmarloch Cumbernauld.

   Not a lot of stock and the stock they do have has awful sell by dates. Constantly have to check if it is got 1 day before their products go out of date. That combined with ridiculous opening times where they seem to make it up when they are closing due to spurious bank holidays etc is wearing a bit thin.

   Nice big store, plenty of parking, its a small thing but the air pump at the petrol station does contactless payment so no more hunting for coins. It also has a wierd holland and barret bit, dunno why? I just ignore it :)

   Good store, always well stocked up with a massive selection of foodstuffs. Also have Toys, Birthday cards etc and a clothing section. Click and collect is available at this store and home delivery. They also have a nice coffee shop/cafe on site also.

   Went in to get a few things and told they were closing at 7 when it lists 11 as closing time online. Not a big deal, but the man at the front was a bit aggressive. I rushed to get my items including sushi and ran to check out. Managed to get everything in time and realised I forgot soy sauce packets from the sushi counter. I was about four feet outside so turned around and asked if I could just run back to grab my soy sauce and chopsticks. The man at the door said “nope, checkout girls are all finished”. I told him it isn’t a purchase they come with the sushi and I just forgot. I’ll run in and run out. He simply said Nope again very abruptly as he shut the door on me. As it closed he said nope again. I get that it’s closing, but there’s no need to be rude and it’s not listed as closing at 7. There were still multiple people showing up to find it unexpectedly closed as I was leaving. I know it seems silly, but that’s just our dinner ruined and it would have been really easy to let me run back or to grab it for me. There were still people in the shop at the tills.

   I was in store on Monday 29th nov about 4pm the young girl who was stacking rolls on shelf came all the way round the shop to give me brioche rolls which I had looked for honestly so moved by her thoughtfulness but she had no name badge on so I didn't catch her name but she is a credit to the store
