   Updated 26 December 2025. I've been a loyal customer of Morrison's for years. Over that time there have many changes, good and bad, but generally a good, reliable store. The fact it still has a butcher and fish counter is a huge bonus. That's changed. Over the last year I've really felt that the store is going downhill. Empty shelves far too often. The toilets are a disgrace. Some of the new staff (specifically - managers) don't seem to have the first clue about service. Also, the language of the younger staff on the floor is shocking. I'm not a prude by any means but you don't swear at your work, in front of customers (or has that changed now?) The cafe used to be great, but again it has gone downhill. Dirty tables, bizarre staffing where one person is taking orders, "cooking" then and then delivering to table, creating queues. There is one member of cafe staff who is very loud and bubbly. Regards Nigel, but not always welcomed. Despite this, I'll keep going because I prefer it to Tesco. I hope that things improve at Morrison's and it gets back to how's it used to be. Be a shame if it went down.

   I come to Morrisons airdrie every Tuesday at 415 with my friend hoo travels from Kirkcaldy for a hot meal and it's because the 2 of us are disabled and it's easy for wheelchair access now the are telling up no hot meals at this time so won't be back in shop or cafe

   Cafeteria is dirty and unhygienic, no staff seem to be bothered about the fact there is no cutlery or even if it's been cleaned properly. Counter doesn't seem to correspond to what the menu says. Poor young lady at the counter seemed to have been thrown in last minute. Cafe isn't even busy and the place is a state with trays left at tables and tables left unclean

   I like Morrisons in general just not this particular store. I feel the aisles are so close together. Cafe is quite good though.

   Tills slow & the woman just kept taking, I don't want aldi service but hurry up there's others in the line, it's called customer service.. food ok but expensive & the salad bar with everyone hands in it? How's that a good idea?

   Went into cafe in airdrie was given fantastic service from a lady called Brenda such a pleasant lady left with a smile on my face. Also few customers came in and enjoyed the cheery attitude of Brenda She is an asset to your company will definitely be back

   Walked out and left shopping at till after having waited ages for assistance with an issue at self scan, I had pressed the assistance button half way through and once I was finished I alerted the woman that I still required help ,she acknowledged me then went in opposite direction. Barcode wouldn't scan and I had even been to get a different pack which worked but couldn't finalise transaction and no way that i could see to type in the numbers

   Since the store has been refurbished I prefer shopping in Morrisons than the other stores in Airdrie. Excellent own ranges, and the fact they have a butcher and fish counters is a major plus. Good value, good overall shopping experience.
