Rudest person ever. Owner was instigating for an argument. Was it because I’m a female, yes absolutely. I would never shop or get a delivery to this establishment ever again.
LOTTERY MONEY THIEF. Gee steals from the old, the infirm and the poor. The first time I thought he short changed the lottery scratchcard winnings by £20 but because he seemed so friendly I thought I may have been wrong despite triple checking the results before going to the shop but then it happened again. The second time I was shorted by £10. Again I had triple checked the cards. So the third time I went I had eight winning cards with £44 winning’s on them. I triple checked them and I got two friends to triple check so I had two witnesses and I also photographed all eight winning cards so I could prove he was a common thief just pretending to like his customers. When he scanned the cards gee said I had seven winners totalling £34 not eight winners totalling £44 and I knew he was stealing my winnings. He even asked me if seven winners totalling £34 was all right which I thought was strange because I’ve never been asked that before. He sounded like if I wasn’t happy he would re-scan the cards for a better outcome. I just said if that is what it is then that is what it is. I will report him to the Police and the national lottery as soon as I can. I am terminally ill with only a few weeks or months to live and gee knows I’m very sick. When I confronted him about the thefts he just shrugged and said it didn’t matter. I said he will be reported to the police and the national lottery and again he just shrugged and said it doesn’t matter. I was stunned. He really hates his customers and his friendly demeanour is completely fake. I’m going to drop into the Indian Temple to speak to the elders about this THIEF who doesn’t care and only pretends to be friendly to disarm his victims.
Ripped us off foe 269 at paypoint b scanning a cashout vouvher qnd thrn saying his machine wasnt working but afzer that voucher was invalid and had been paid out to him. Also out of date xereal out of date sweets
Had new management for a while and I can honestly say that they are absolutely lovely. What a different atmosphere, the man, his wife and his son are lovely. I go here most mornings on the school run and it was actually my daughter that asked me to write a review because we leave the shop everyday and say what a lovely guy he is lol. I’m all for supporting local businesses if they’re decent people. The difference in the shop and the service he provides is night and day from the old owners and they deserve all the custom they can get.
Under new owners and management last week and what an improvement on the shop floor amazing such a difference. The whole shop has a completely different atmosphere. New owners are very welcoming and warm to customers and nothing is too much if they don’t have something or you can’t find it just ask and they source it for you. Must say very impressed in the changes in 1 week and very affordable pricing.
This place is literally the worst shop i have been to went in and bought something today and came home to it not working went back to get a replacement and the man was so abusive infront of my little baby told me to shut up absolutely disgusting if you ask me please can everyone do not buy anything from this shop because they will not replace or refund your money there so rude & aggressive when confronted trading standards definitely should be called.
Rude, ignorant staff member who ignored customers going into his shop as he stood outside talking on the phone and smoking today. He kept people waiting who just wanted to buy their over-priced groceries and leave. Terrible little place.

Prices are a complete rip off. Items that cost 59 pence in the city cost £1.79 here. I tred to buy tobacco with my debit card the other day and this tall thin guy with glasses serving me told me I had to use their cash machine (WHICH CHARGES £1.75p) each time you use it. I said no I’m not wasting £1.75p use my debit card. Which he then did. These people nickel And dime you a thousand different ways. I’m often short changed by around a pound each time and I’ve noticed other customers in front of me (A TAXI DRIVER) also being short changed by over £2 so most customers are short changed by a significant amount.
