Great Doctors and staff, they seen to my needs immediately and made me feel in good hands. I've seen a lot of these doctors through time and every single one goes above and beyond providing the care patients need. Along with the amazing and speedy receptionists, the team in Liberton are unbelievable. 5 star for this surgery - getting an appointment can be a bit hard but that's everywhere. This surgery just manages it better! Thank you!!!!!

I was a patient for over 40 years, the staff were courteous and helpful. Having moved out of the permitted area for the surgery. I had to enrole with a new GP surgery. All I can say is the difference is night and day. With this surgery I was prescribed a different drug but the doctor in question had not sent through the correct details for the prescription. The pharmacist chased this up until the correct details were provided. Also phoned me to keep me up to date with the progress.

I called the emergency line on the morning of 14th of August with some concerning symptoms. The lady who answered the phone was very patient, professional, scrutinising and reassuring so I’d just like to register my appreciation here, thank you!

Started with 5 stars and slowly, gradually, went down to 1. Many issues with this paactice but the most concerning is that. Some of the doctors are wrongly assuming the reasons behind your health issues. I was diagnosed with stomach cramps and prescribed wrong meds which werent owrking so insead they gave me more meds for stomach cramps. Just biopsy came down after a long wait and I have damaged instestines, waiting for the second biopsy to come down. They didn't offer me an appointment to get a proper medication for bowel inflammation - its been 3 years of constant pain and even now this isn't getting finalised with proper meds. And you all pay for this nonsense. Africa has a better healthcare.

It’s almost impossible to get an appointment and guess what when you do, you’re only given less than 5 minutes to talk about a serious problem that’s been ongoing for months. This is not care, it’s anything but care!

How to get an appointment here. Begin calling at 07:58. You’ll probably get a recorded message that says that the surgery is now closed. Hang up and immediately call back. Repeat. Keep dialling in as frequently as you can until the line does open at around about 8am. When the recorded message changes that’s the sign that someone is answering calls. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE RECORDED MESSAGE; it takes too long and in that time some other sick person with faster fingers will have got there ahead of you. Immediately press 4 on your phone. If you are lucky this will bring you to an operator, or to a short queue of 5 callers. With any luck you’ll get an appointment today! Go you! More likely you’ll receive the message that “We are experience [sic] an exceptional volume of calls” it will hang up on you. Don’t wait for it to do so. Hang up immediately and dial in again, pressing 4 as soon as the recorded message starts. Repeat. Repeat again. It is now fairly unlikely that you will get an appointment that day, but they might be able to give you one later in the week. My phone records show that it took 66 redials to reach the operator, but I did eventually get an appointment! Surgery staff are great when you get through to them. Be nice to them, it’s not really their fault.

One of the female doctors is a horrible doctor, it's beyond me as to how she's still allowed to practice. She's probably going to be liable for a medical negligence suit one of these days. DO NOT recommend at all. I would give a -10 stars if possible.

Staff are lovely but good luck getting a scheduled appointment. I've never actually managed this yet, after over 2 years at the practice.
