   One of the men who works here is so kind, he’s always helping the customers at the self checkouts and he’s so polite and kind to everyone, always jumping on to help where needed. I unfortunately haven’t gotten his name but if you go there regularly you’ll know who I’m talking about.

   No small trolleys anymore so have started shopping elsewhere. My shop is usually too much/heavy for the large basket and the large trolleys are too difficult for me too manoeuvre. Shame as the store is good otherwise.

   The new baskets are very impractical and almost useless. The store has kept only very large trolleys and now introduced these very large baskets, clearly focusing on customers who do big shopping—yet those customers usually don’t use the self-checkout anyway. For people who do use self-checkout, these baskets are extremely inconvenient and not good for your health. There isn’t enough space to place them between the checkouts, and they’re too big and awkward to fit on the spaces designed for smaller baskets. As a result, you’re forced to leave the basket on the floor to the side, which means constantly bending down to pick up each product and scan it. After a long time of doing daily small-to-medium purchases at this store, I now have to start shopping elsewhere, as this store is no longer fit for purpose for smaller, more frequent shopping trips.

   Popped into Lidl on new year's eve after leaving East Kilbride town centre just to buy a few things. Most of the fruit and veg area was well stocked especially as it was getting close to 5.00pm. We're able to get all that we needed. Most customers used the scanning machines as they had a small quantity of goods. Easy to use. Staff are always happy to help.

   Pretty much made to use self scans at points, been In a few times when cashier had full que very busy but having to go back and forth to help people at self scan, surely you should have more team on to help, customers pretty much made to you self scans as no other team members Opening other tills, money saving excerise I think. Other than that pretty solid choice
