A smallish outpost of this brand, which offers on trend, faintly edgy apparel for women and men, and a few accessories. Expect sales staff to be dishonest, or at least disingenuous, about fit, and whether you look like a loon, when you try things on. No mirror in fitting room - srsly a pet peeve - so, odds are that you will be subject to such staff comments. If you don't see your size, ask, because only one or two of each item is on display, they have some additional sizes upstairs.
Always loved Kooples, good selection of their range and the staff are always willing to lend a helping hand.
A lovely shop with lovely staff! The clothes are wonderful and the staff are very honest, approachable and helpful. One of the boys even helped me carry my bags to my car! I will be visiting the kooples again soon for sure!
The worst customer experience in my life has led me to leave a review for the Kooples shop in Bath. The basic message is: avoid at all costs, particularly if you order from them online to have it delivered to the shop. I have been trying for over ten days to call the Kooples shop in Bath almost every day (usually on redial for 20 minutes) but they NEVER picked up the phone. Hence, you cannot check on the status of an order or ask them about exchanges or what they have in stock. The actual service in the shop is very much hit and miss. The sales staff can, at times, be friendly. The core issue is that they do understand what a professional customer service is. They come across as bored, more interested in their own little staff chats and have little professional manner. Overall: avoid having anything delivered to the Bath shop of The Kooples when you order online. When shopping in person, don't expect good service. This is unfortunate. The Kooples make good clothes, but their shops let them down. I have been buying from the Kooples for many years, but the customer is so shockingly bad that I have decided to take my business elsewhere. There are many issues: 1. The Kooples shop in Bath never answers the phone. I have been trying to call them for almost two weeks now about an order that is being delivered there, but they never bothered to answer the phone. I had to call their general customer service to complain about that. Still, the shop in Bath does not answer the phone and cannot be asked to provide basic customer service. When you are in the shop in Bath, the sales personnel is not friendly and is simply not interested in the customers. 2. If you order from the Kooples to have it delivered to your address, then be aware that orders can take 2 or more weeks. This is again not acceptable, given that the delivery time quoted on the Kooples website is much shorter. The parcels are being sent from France and you have to send any exchanges back to France. Before you actually get your money back from the Kooples a month can pass overall. 3. Their customer service is very much hit and miss if you actually call them. If you have any issues or complaints, they don't allow you the opportunity to talk to a supervisor or manager, and you always feel that they just don't care about their customers. Overall, avoid the Kooples as much as you can. The product they are selling is fine, but the customer service is only hassle and an extremely unpleasant experience.
