Great campsite with the high quality facilities. Toilets and showers always clean. Good location - Very conveniently located by the train station which gets you into Edinburgh in about 10 minutes. There is also a lovely walk along the seafront just down the road from the campsite.
The staff was superb helping us out, gave great recommendations. Short walk to the bust stop making it easy to get to downtown Edinburgh. We have camped all over the United States and now have 10 days in Scotland under our belt. This facility has the best and cleanest bathrooms/showers anywhere.
This campsite is immaculate and deserves its 5 star status. Pitches available for tents, tourers, campervans and motorhomes both grass and hardstanding, elec hook up available and water. Different sizes of pitches available, we stayed on the smallest hardstanding elec hook up 1 night which was just over £20 and we revisited a few nights later and stayed on a larger hardstanding elec hook up with privacy hedges which was a little over £30. Discount is ofgered if booking a further stay too. The site is very clean and very well kept. The Toilet blocks are the best ive seen so far, all having toilets cubicles, showers cubicles, hair dryers, rooms with baths, wash basins in some toiket cubicles too. laundry room, kitchen room with microwave and vending machines. Toilet blocks even have rooms with full size baths too!. Music filtered throughout toilet/bathing blocks. Beautiful childrens play area and even a dedicated dog walking route around the perimeter of the site which is hedged and fenced. Dedicated doggy wash area for your mucky pups. Camp fires allowed if hiring correct firepit/wood direct from site for £15. Staff very friendly and helpful. Superb site
Very conveniently located campsite with excellent facilities. Great location for the southern coast of the forth of forth and for Edinburgh, thanks to the easily accessible excellent public transport options. Shower blocks and toilets kept meticulously clean. Quiet areas for small tents. The pods are spacious (we camped on one occasion and used a pod on a separate visit). Staff are friendly and accommodating. Easy booking system and great that it's open all year. Would be even better, if there was a bigger campers' kitchen and a larger shop with a wider range of items/foodstuffs on sale.
Brilliant experience. Stayed in a Bothy double deluxe with our small dog. The facilities are excellent and perfectly clean. Showers were hotter and more powerful than ours at home! Lots of transport options into Edinburgh. Lovely helpful staff, fantastic communication. Hope to visit again.
Only stayed the one night but will visit again, great site with very friendly staff and the toilet block was heated and spotless. It's a great location for touring the East coast and only a 20min walk to the beach.

Sanitary buildings are in poor condition. If you book 3 nights and you stay only 2 nights, you will not get any refund - be aware.
