    As a regular customer of Peacocks in Keynsham I really thought twice about giving a negative review as mostly only positive experiences. Today however I was so disappointed in the service and the attitude of one of the staff I have to share my experience. I purchased over £60 worth of goods, mainly women’s wear. The assistant at the till was a little grumpy but tbf we all have off days. I purchased a pair of sunglasses for my grand daughter in amongst the basket. When I paid, I asked the assistant to keep the sunglasses as my granddaughter already had a pair (put them on whilst sat in her buggy) and I’d just taken the pair to the till for the bar code so I could pay. The Assistant rudely asked “yeah but is it the same pair” I called my daughter back with the buggy so she could see it was the same pair and she muttered something about giving me the benefit of the doubt. Now I don’t want her benefit of doubt but I do expect a polite service without sarky comments and or passive/aggressive accusations. I wish I could have captured her rude and miserable attitude on camera just to share as this review seriously cannot emphasise how awful she was and how she made me feel.

    Great sale,I got lots of lovely new clothes for myself and my husband. Lovely assistant help look after all my clothing that I found in the sale and really look after the clothes folding up lovely and small. Thank you for your kindness.

    Service is often slow. Range of men's clothes seems to get smaller every time I visit. Staff are a bit too casual.
