   I have just walked out of new Stevenson Lidl after hearing the male manager on shift speaking to a younger female member of staff about "the biggest decision he faces is which room of his house to masterbate in". I only discovered he was the manager after I asked another member of staff to speak to an manger. When he came over I asked him if he thought that was appropriate he said he maybe spoke too loudly....nothing about the subject not being workplace appropriate. I asked if he was aware that it was also sexual harrasment given hes a manager with a position of authority over the younger female member of staff and speaking sexualy to her was inappropriate and illegal. He then apologised to me and said they had "that kind of a relationship".

   Since they brought in the self service checkouts I have stopped shopping here. There are several ‘self service’ tills and never more than one staffed checkout open at any time. Should you need the assistance of a member of staff you will have to wait for someone at the far end of the store to stop stacking the shelves to find the time to attend to you - or alternatively, the checkout assistant on the one open checkout to stop serving the customer there to come and attend to you and everyone else waiting for assistance. I have timed the wait at anything from 3 to 10 minutes, and that if it is working properly. Horrendous experience every time I won’t be back!
