Great value for the price. It was cheaper than most hostels, even for a private room for two. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. The furniture isnβt the newest, but it has a nice retro charm. The location is very good β after a 10-minute walk through the park, you can catch a tram straight to the city centre. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful.

If you can spend a little more, avoid this placeβyouβll regret it. The only reason I gave two stars is the location, as the neighborhood is worth visiting. For a similar price, Edinburgh College Residence offers better value with a kitchen, common areas, and cleaner rooms. Back in Spain, I stayed at Sercotel Sant Boi near El Prat Airport for half the priceβfantastic rooms and outstanding reception staff, especially Emilio. The difference in hospitality is incredible.

We got a room with a horrible smell. The person renting it just worked there and tried her best to fix the problem but the smell is embedded in the carpet. We couldn't spend another night there and found another hotel. We booked 2 nights, but one was enough. Definitely bottom rung accommodation.

Booked the Quadruple room which sells itself as a 35m2 room. The room may be that size but the large structure that protrudes into the room (which they very cleverly hide in the photos) from an adjoining room means usable space is nowhere near that. There was a mouldy smell in the bathroom and the carpet was dirty with big marks in it. Looking at other reviews the hotel is obviously proud of their 2 star rating and do everything in their power not to improve that rating. We made the decision that we couldn't possibly stay there for the 3 nights we had booked as we felt it was not as advertised and 3 of us in this enclosed space was not going to work. We lost our money as we booked as non refundable (our own fault) with no acknowledgement or acceptance that pictures shown were misleading. If you want cheap book here, if you want to feel like you have received value for money look elsewhere. On a final note if you book through Agoda as we did don't expect any support from them they will side with the Hotel every time.

Booked a room for my 1 night stay in Edinburgh and the place exceeded my expectation. I checked in later than 3pm, but when I notified the staff, he was very nice about the situation, and was very lovely when I checked in. The room was very clean and I enjoyed my stay very much.

Very nice hotel near city centre. I stayed there only 4 nights and spent all my time traveling in Edinburgh but I can tell that my room was very clean and warm with a modern shower room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also a lot of buses stations nearby. Value for money. Hope see you again!!!!
