   I have shopped in this store for years & spent thousands of £s there. Last Week I had about £70s worth on the belt at the checkout & was due a 10% discount. The lady in front of me paid in cash and had walked away. So I swiped my Lidl plus card & was told that the lady had got my discount . The reason given by the checkout lady was that I had swiped my card too soon, so I would be losing £7 discount. The man attending the self checkouts came over & told me that I'd just have to suck it up. At the same time they were shouting over the tannoy " don't forget to swipe your Lidl plus card". So I left my shopping & walked away. I will never enter that shop again.!

   I’ve been shopping at this Lidl for years, but I’m considering shopping elsewhere. The security in the store makes me feel like a thief; I can’t move around freely because the security guard is constantly following me. I travel across Scotland and shop at other Lidls too, so I know it’s not like this in other stores.

   I think this store has been struggling with theft. They have implemented another safeguard and you cannot leave the self pay area without scanning your slip. The store staff are great.

   Great selection and special offers are something you need to get quickly as they sell out fast! Best to go early on the first day of the themed weeks, if you want to have a chance of the special items on offer for that week. Love the country themed weeks - Greece, Spain, Italy etc. Calzone pizzas from Italian week are amazing! Fresh and frozen Calzone are available in Italian Week! Hope they sell them in the permanent range of pizzas. They are just so tasty!

   Lidl Kilmarnock,, like shopping here, but recently there are more empty shelves than full. Don't know what's going on but these issues need addressing. Is it an issue in all their stores. ??

   Although limited stock of top names brands you will still find a great selection of others and of course at cheaper prices. It's a non frills experience but well worth the effort I definitely think you should give it a try.
