Lovely place to stay over for a night or two. The lady that runs the b&b, (Elizabeth) is a lovely lady. The rooms are a bit dated but to be honest that just adds to their charm. A proper small independent bed and breakfast. Highly recommended!

The B&B is in a quiet location with easy access to bus stop and pub. The bedroom was quiet and very clean. Daily plentiful top up of tea, coffee, caramel wafer bars. The mattress and bedlinen were very good quality, lots of support for sleeping or watching TV. The en-suite shower room and toilet were kept very clean with some toiletries provided. Decent shower. Thick towels. I stayed in a hotel after the B&B stay and there was no comparison, the B&B was better shower and towels and toiletries, a lot of attention to the little things. The breakfast was good range of choice and very generous portions. Lovely breakfast room and Elizabeth was very attentive to her guests. Nice lounge and access to an iron and ironing board, big TV and books. Some people might find the breakfast too big a portion, maybe have a more detailed breakfast form that they can select the items they want to save waste although I’m sure if they asked beforehand Elizabeth would accommodate their needs. I would definitely come back to the B&B I hope Elizabeth’s high standards will always be carried on as it’s a lovely stress-free treat to stay there.

Elizabeth was really wonderful and made our day. She was kind, helpful and very funny. We missed our flight and were scrambling for somewhere to stay. We had booked the farmhouse as it was close and affordable and are so glad we did! The rooms were cozy and clean and the breakfast was really delicious. Elizabeth has been running the B&B for most her life and it really shows in the hospitality she showed us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others. There are no fridges in the rooms and the tv is small but that’s part of B&Bs usually anyway.

Picked this as an overnight stop over. Next time we're in the neighbourhood, this will be our base. Extremely warm welcome on our arrival. We had phoned to say we were going to be much later. Elizabeth our host informed not a problem even letting us know when the chippy closed. This place has a warm and homely feel. Not the sanitised travel lodges etc. Lots of tea and coffee with a t-pot for those that prefer it that way. Dish cloth to dry your cups and lovely shower gel and soap. Room lovely and warm on arrival and plenty of car parking spaces. Terrific choice of breakfast menu and great 'banter' from Elizabeth. Thanks Elizabeth and her son Dougie for a lovely time ❤️

The hostess was wonderful and her food is very good and plentiful. Very nice rooms. It's close to Edinburgh airport and Stirling is not far away and also close to Rosslyn Chapel.

The room was extremely tidy clean and tidy, the host was warm and very hospitable. I was advised on locations for entertainment and food, and made to feel really welcome. The food was excellent with homemade sausages and the price was very acceptable, I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
