Pricing at all branches of Morrisons in Glasgow seems to lacks transparency. Check your receipt, and take photos of the special ‘more card’ discounts which often fail to apply at the checkout. You’ll need the proof for getting your refund after battling with defensive staff. And give yourself an extra 15 mins to queue and wait for the refund owed to you - they don’t make it easy. Also, there were no trolleys by the door, but the trolley bays in the carpark were overflowing. A staff person said if I want a trolley I can go and get one from the other side of the carpark. Kind of impressed by the sassy answer tbh… Finally, Morrisons is not competitive anymore. It’s more expensive than other supermarkets, but somehow more terrible and kind of depressing. Morrisons - please stop ripping us off with your consistently dodgy pricing. And put enough staff on to run the place properly. Just stop being so TIGHT.

I previously gave this store top marks, and it still holds that the staff are lovely. Buy dear God the place has gone down hill. Out of date food frequently on the shelves. The aisles are often littered with boxes and abandoned produce. They seem to be badly understaffed. Few checkouts manned and the self service machines are often out of order. Expect to run the gauntlet and queue for a fair while. I've attached photos and you might think this was a bad day, but I assure you it is pretty much standard now. This is a review of their conduct during COVID. Top staff, genuinely helpful... Front line workers at their absolute best, dealing with difficult conditions and sometimes difficult customers.

My favorite chain. Yes, it was all a bit better 10 years ago, but thank god it still exists and offers an alternative to Tesco. Security cams? Security guards? Couldnt see any. They are surely there, but far from being so prevalent as one of these odd reviews suggest.

The baskets are never next to the entrance. Every time you go, you have to wander round the checkouts to find a basket. The staff are just standing around and they never think to go put all the used baskets back near the door for new customers. They just pile up near the checkouts. SO annoying.
