This afternoon I waited 9 minutes just to start going through the one and only human operated checkouts. I think this is too long. Five in front of me when I joined the queue. Staff should be on top of this issue. There was plenty of automated checkouts to use, but that's not my preference.
Staff are just the most unfriendly, unhelpful bunch and now the manned tills are being done away with, no considering individuals with disabilities who may need them, just horrid, try the bigger one in town or better yet shop elsewhere altogether
Attended this store tonight . Tried to use a voucher from cash/coin conversation machine . Unable to use at teller .had to go to customer service counter . Lovely lady allowed me to cash the voucher .even though I made the error of not cashing it in on day I obtained it . She was exceptionally helpful and understanding of my predicament. Sorry I've forgotten her name . But again..thank you for being sooo nice and understanding .
Usual large Tesco. Plenty of parking and a wide choice of goods.
Aggressive and non-sensical use of the ‘under 25 rule’. My wife and I tried buying a box of beer with the weekly family groceries while accompanied by my sister-in-law who is under 18. I was refused sale of alcohol by a staff member at the self scan checkout as my sister-in-law looked under 25 and didn’t have an ID, despite being told she of course didn’t have an ID as she is a child. Was then rudely interrupted and aggressively told that’s just the law before the staff member took the box of beer and just stormed off. I would have expected more common sense and understanding applied to the ‘under 25 rule’; especially with regards to family’s in the care of young children where it isn’t quite feasible to find a babysitter every time alcohol is needed purchased from a supermarket. Very disappointed and will not be shopping here again.
No toilet paper in the female loos. Lovely notice board with the local events.
