   It was wonderful. The staff were lovely and caring. The view was amazing and due to it promixity, we had alot of fun exploring the city. We wanted to book again but no luck ;-;. So maybe next time

   Stayed in room 11. Too many steps to climb and not even a lift. Flies were crawling out of the walls, dead spiders in the bathroom and the walls were peeling and there was marker all over the walls. I also found multiple hairs in my breakfast

   Great hotel. Stayed in room 16 on the top floor-70 odd steps to climb each day without a lift! Spacious rooms with clean bathrooms. Owners were great and very hospitable to all requests.

   Dirty room, They just cleaned the bed so I talked to the receptionist if they could clean the bathroom as well. On the next day the bathroom, the floor and table was dirty like the days before. I can’t discribe the looking of the spoon and the cups. And if you don’t like bacon you will get a problem because the smell of the bacon ends your sleep every day (my room was on the 3rd floor and I have no idea how they make it possible tho push the bacon air through the whole hotel).

   Cushy dwelling suited for the savvy traveller. Cheap, cosy rooms (£50 for a single Saturday night with breakfast). My room was in the basement and had a modern en suite shower. There was an endless dull noise from the stairs of a morning but that was my only complaint. Service is casual. I like casual. Casual is normal. I'd stay here again.

   If you are looking for cheap accommodation and are fit and healthy then this might suit you. There were 72 steps to my room and no lift. Radiator didn't work, but there was a heater in the wardrobe that did. Bedding also didn't fit. Staff were all friendly and professional.

   Lovely old Hotel in Georgian terrace. Very friendly, good welcome and good service from B&B. My room was downstairs, in basement - a bit cellar-like, but fine for a few nights. Recommended for short stay - handy for Central Edinburgh at reasonable prices.
