   The hotel is quite comfortable for the price range, and the location is convenient. It’s accessible from Waverley Station either by walking or by taking a tram followed by a short walk. During my first stay, we were a small group with only small suitcases, so everything went smoothly. However, for larger groups or those traveling with big luggage, it may be challenging because the hotel has no elevator. Carrying heavy suitcases up to the 3rd floor can be quite difficult. The distance from Waverley Station, while manageable, also feels more demanding when pushing large luggage.

   We had room 21 on the first floor that included 3x single beds and an ensuite. The beds were comfortable with additional blankets and pillows available upon request and an extra heater if needed although the central heating was mostly enough for us. There was plentiful hot water and a very good water pressure. The room was cleaned on a daily basis to a really good level. The ensuite was spacious enough for us and there is a communal toilet in the basement which is helpful and kept to a very good cleanliness level. We would definitely visit this hotel again and recommend it to others.

   The house needs a serious repair. A lot of things do not function. No lift in the house and the stairs are terrifying. The WiFi works intermittently. One of the central heating radiators just doesn’t work. Washbasin is broken. The location is good and close to the old city but that’s it. There are leaks on the ceiling Just stay away from this “hotel”.

   Honestly, I never put in complaints, but I cannot recommend anyone to stay here. The rooms are up very unsafe stairs which are not mobility friendly. They are fine for me, not my aunt. I called and double checked that the rooms had showers at low levels because my aunt struggles to lift her legs over them...the person on the phone could have, and should have mentioned the stairs at this point. Thankfully, this is not the hotel we will be staying at for the duration of the stay because we leave at separate times and she would be unable to get luggage down the stairs. The only person she has seen has been the maids, you have been nice. But there hasn't been a desk person at all. I specifically booked hotels over the airbnb for the desk person, in case she needs help. She also offered to pay more for a room on the lower floor and has yet to get a return call. All in all, I would never recommend this to anyone and I cannot believe this is how it is run. What a disappointment.

   Worst experience ever!!!! We did check in Today It was really disappointing The apartment located in the basement. They did not mention that in the apartment details. We have many problems with humidity and no fresh air which are affecting our general health. We found it difficult to breathe or even sleep. Also, the apartment we booked doesn’t look like photos in booking.The toilet is not clean , smell very bad and water on the floor we could fall many times.The light between the rooms is not working, we found that difficult to walk in between. Moreover, we did not get a refund at all for the rest of the night. They offered 60% refund and once we get out of the accommodation. They told us the manager withdrew his offer!!!!

   All 3,4,5 star reviews are FAKE. This place is absolutely not worth the £50, it is worse than a hostel and no body cares or attends when you try to reach the staff. The cleaners do not come and the room and hotel is full of mess. BEST TO AVOID

   We stayed in the apartment last weekend and the looked nothing like it did on the photos. It was filthy and mouldy and cold. We asked for assistance with heat and hot water and one of the men who came to look shouted at us from another room would T speak to us face to face and told us everything is fine and slammed the door. Never ever have I stayed in a more disgusting place.

   We didnt see a single person working there during our stay. We had a lot of trouble with the heating and the shower drain and had to deal with it without any help. Also, most days they did not clean the room or change the dirty towels, cups and so on. Will not come back.

   + the hotel is well positioned, the room is spacious, the bed comfortable. - very cold in the room, heating is done with an electric heater, the room did not seem very clean, the bathroom small.

   Room was dirty stains on walls carpets and mattresses. Shower was full of black mould. Curtains were to short for window. TV kept loosing signal due to dodgy connections.. Shower tray kept filling and overflowing. But worst of all on day of leaving discovered Bed bugs!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. stay clear ...
