Delighted to discover Outdoor Gear and its manager/mechanic Tiego. If my last experience was anything to go by, it will be my 'go to' bike shop from now on.

I always take mine and my wife’s bikes here. Tiago is an excellent bike mechanic, charges very reasonable prices, is very communicative and always does a great job. Been taking our bikes to him for several years and will continue to do so going forward!

Very pleased to have found this local shop and the very helpful and friendly manager/technician Tiago. I can recomend getting your Swytch kit installed here if you, like me, doubt your mechanical abilities. Also for no fuss, high speed, very reasonably priced minor repairs. I'm intending to bring the bike back for a service later in the year too. Thanks Tiago!

I have been in here multiple times and every time the technician is so happy to help, always fixes it perfectly, is fast and is amazing value for money too! Feel very lucky for this to be my local bike repair shop

Popped in today in a rushed emergency (didn't catch the technician's name) but he sorted out my bike's tire pressure and even fixed a part that was coming loose...a big big thank you as I was cycling on a pretty unsafe bike! Thank you so much, 5/5 recommend this local shop :)

Really disappointed on what happened. Used to go there to minor issues and never had problems. Today I had to replace my rear derailleur; the rear derailleur gear mech hanger was new as I just received from an online shop. After the mechanic mounted it we realised that the chain was too closed to it, so he tried to bend it and broke it. After that he blamed the online shop to have sent me a faulty item. I am sure it wasn't bent or faulty as I have received it in the morning and opened it to check if was the correct piece I need, then I have repacked it in a way that it could't get any damage. The worst part is that not only he didn't take responsability for braking it; it can happen and I would've understand but he didn't even offered to pay for the replacement. Then I realised that the shifter was very stiff compared to before; probably happened because he shortened the cable makning it more tense. An additional issue that I will have to fix. To summarize: I took the bike there to have it fixed bun not only it hasn't been fixed but I will have to spend extra money to buy again the hanger, buy new cable, wait a week for the item to arrive and the labour.

Tiago was really friendly and seemed to know his stuff. However, he sold me a bike that broke down a day after purchase. Total scam. The bike was second hand and he claimed to have repaired it. This questions his honesty or his ability as a bike mechanic. Either way I would not trust the guy. He ignored my calls after I tried to get in touch to sort the problem with the bike. Unreliable and dishonest service.
