   I applied for a property at west pilton terrace two weeks ago after the viewing and promptly paid the £100 holding deposit, as well as providing all the requested documents. Since then, I have received no communication regarding the application. I have attempted to contact the agency by both phone and email, but unfortunately, I have not received any response. This lack of communication is very disappointing and reflects poorly on the level of service provided.

   We had a terrible time for the 1 year we rented. Property was not cleaned when we arrived, many amenities that were in terrible condition and broke early on. When we tried to get our deposit back they tried to charge us nearly £700 for agent fees and cleaning fees, that we were not responsible for. Our agent never replied to our emails, ignoring us and continued to drag out problems with the flat.

   I’ve lived in Dunedin’s properties for over 3 years now and would say they are best managers I’ve come across so far, there are some proper cowboys out there. In fact, the only reason I’m moving out is because I’ve decided to buy my first home in Edinburgh. Whenever I have spoke with Azhar, Sharon, Anne or Lynda they have always spoke to me with professionalism and respect and as a medical professional myself I value this a lot. They are proactive and good at communicating, especially via email. I’d also say that they are fair and adopt a human/rational approach to negating issues. I would recommend Dunedin Property Management as a tenant.

   I would not recommend renting with Dunedin. Having rented with them for 9 months they were unresponsive/ incredibly slow to respond to maintenance and safety issues. Additionally some staff were rude and condescending on the phone on multiple occasions.

   Terrible customer service , took our holding fee along with others so the property was never secured for us like it should have been. Strung along over 3 days for absolutely nothing. Would of given 0 starts if possible. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
