   I had a really good stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Strathclyde. The service throughout the hotel was friendly and professional, and the bar was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. The food was decent, not amazing, but perfectly fine and enjoyable. The hotel is clearly a bit older, but it’s been maintained well and feels clean and cared for. Soundproofing isn’t perfect, but it was totally acceptable and I still slept comfortably. Overall, it was actually better than I expected after reading some of the other reviews. I’d happily stay again.

   Attended a meeting in the reception area with colleagues today . From arrival at 9:00 till leaving at the end of the day Annemarie was a superstar. After 40+ years in Hotel Management she was the ideal person you wanted in the front of house. So friendly and welcoming, very attentive and kept checking on us from arrival coffee, breakfast and lunch. As we have just moved to new business premises in Bellshill this will be our go to Hotel.

   Attended the hotel for a Spa day. My daughter and I had 2 treatments each,access to facilities and a light lunch. We had the same treatments each, but vastly different experiences. I loved both treatments and found them very relaxing. My daughter said it was awful and thinks the lady doing her treatments was new. She asked for a deep massage. She said it was very light and was more like random prodding. It is worth saying that my daughter is very petite. Gave score based on my experience.

   Excellent Spa and Lunch yesterday we both had a lovely time. Lily was great such a relaxing and peaceful massage and facial. The smells were amazing for all the products used I think that the wine is overpriced as a large glass of wine was expensive. The restaurant staff were so helpful and very friendly and efficient we were able to have our starters and then have our spa treatments and then back to the restaurant for the second course. It was such a lovely experience overall.

   Friendly staff, very clean, excellent staff. Swimming pool was wonderful. Draw back? No climate control in the rooms so when "summer" arrives the window will be open to allow all the noise in. Fans only move the hot air round. That aside we enjoyed the extremely comfy beds in a spacious room.

   I've stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions while working in the area. The staff are always helpful, the rooms always clean and comfortable and the food reasonably priced. There is a large bar/lounge area which is great for relaxing but equally good for getting some work done while drinking a coffee. The bedrooms are always clean and comfortable and I've never had any bad experiences that would make me worry about security. I've not used the pool/spa facilities (I always forget to pack my speedo's!!) so I can't comment on this facility. It seems very popular though, so I suspect it must be good.

   I’m absolutely appalled at my experience today. I booked a “luxury spa experience” and it was nothing of the sort. When I arrived we were told we needed to pay a weekend fee, which was fine until I realised it was £20 per person. We were then told that there was no robes or slippers and we would have to pay a further £10 per person if we wanted this, and the girl at reception said this is in my terms and conditions which I have a screenshot and it isn’t even listed on there. When we were waiting for our treatments we were sat In the main reception and weren’t told there was any relaxation areas in the spa until I overheard someone else getting offered this. The treatments I enjoyed, but wasn’t ideal when we had to get changed fully straight after. We then went to go and use the facilities, and there were kids swimming lessons going on in the pool, there were 2 loungers for the entire area. We had a shot of the sauna and steam room, then decided to just leave as it was outright uncomfortable. Extremely upset, as it wasn’t exactly cheap for the package I paid for and it felt like I was having to add more and more money to be treated what should have been expected. The receptionist was rude and no help. I can’t find a customer services email to contact someone. I will never recommend this to anyone, If you’re looking for a luxury spa day don’t even bother looking here.

   Friendly and efficient check-in, room was spacious, very comfortable - if a bit warm - quiet and very clean. Bathroom was spotlessly clean, everything worked and Toiletries supplied. Will definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others. One small niggle- is the room light comes on/off with the bedside lights, rather than separately. So it's all bright or totally dark!
