We hosted our daughter’s 13th birthday at Awestruck Academy and it was fantastic! The hall was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the party package was a great value. The Photo Booth was a big hit, and the DJ kept the kids entertained all night. Highly recommend this venue for parties and events!
Amazing place.getting drum lessons here and the mood and look of the place just boost the the feeling of it. Alan is a great cheery guy and a brilliant teacher.everything you need if you’re wanting to learn an instrument as he teaches many other things.
A fantastic venue for my daughter’s 13th birthday party! The party package includes so much it was the most organised I had been for an event as they took care of it all! Hall is huge and well decorated to any colour theme you have. Allan was brilliant with the kids getting them all up on the dance floor all night bouncin! All the kids said it was the best party they’d been to! Joes communication is excellent and anything we needed on the night was provided. Photographers photos were top quality and the Photo Booth an added bonus with a link to all the photos for the kids to get after the party. Really delighted with everything, well worth the money for the package! Recommend to all
I booked the photo booth for my work Christmas party, I kept it as a surprise for everyone. I had great communication from Joe when booking. It was an amazing addition to our night, everyone had lots of fun using it and said how it made the night more memorable, the guy operating it was great he was so much fun even had a wee dance with us. An added surprise bonus we received an album at the end of the night with a copy of each photo taken to keep as a memento. I would highly recommend using Awestruck Academy. You do great work. Overall, with the amount of money I had to pay, I was dissatisfied with the services. The staff were nice at first but as soon as the event was over, we were kicked out and spoke to like second class citizens. I had high hopes and good things to say about this hall but that kind of behaviour has discouraged me to even recommend this hall to other people. This part is a response to the comment you left in the review I previously left. Before I continue I would like to thank Alan who was the staff you had on. He was so kind, attentive and patient. This is something we were hoping to see from you as well. When we had agreed on the time for us to leave, you mentioned that we could leave at 3 am but you would have staff in the building until 5 am. By 3 am we had already packed everything and were carrying our stuff outside out of the building but our lift was late and we asked just to wait inside as it was cold and raining. But you insisted for us to go outside. The problem was not that you asked us to leave, it the way you asked us to leave and your lack of courtesy to your customers. Unfortunately the end of the event was not the only thing we had a problem with, we were offered dirty plate, disorganised service when it came to the equipment for music and hidden costs that we did not anticipate. The preparations for the event were only finalised the day before or on the day of the event , which is why I suspect you had a long shift unfortunately. The main reason for leaving this review was not to be spiteful I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to share my experience and hope that things could be better for future events for anyone else who would like to use your premises.
Had my daughter & nephews joint 13th birthday here, was great couldn't fault it at all, Alan was great with the kids had them entertainer & dancing all night thanks again x

A great place, not only for kids but for the whole family. Such a warm, welcoming, community focused group. Music lessons, arts & crafts, pool tables, air hockey, gaming rooms, toddler play area. The workers there are wonderful people who are committed to bettering their community.
This community based, youth club is excellent. Allan and the rest of the staff work hard to provide a safe and fun place for kids of all ages. Highly recommend stopping in and having a look
Such an underrated, under used and under appreciate place! Ran by the nicest guys in town that will literally do anything for you, caters to babies teens and families, £1 to play all day reasonable price for food and juice, hall available to hire. Games room, bouncy castle, child play area, arts and crafts
