Fantastic Service. Extremely fast and efficient. Kay answered all of my queries and concerns, and Kay was extremely patient with me throughout this entire Visa application. A fantastic professional positive experience. I am truly grateful for the help and advice. Thank you very much for everything. A real pleasure to do business with you

Kay is always friendly and very helpful, lovely lady. I've been going for years for multi entry tourist visas. For other types of visas it's worth a phone to see whether she can issue or whether it needs to be London.

AVOID !!! - Very un-polite and unhelpful staff, I had driven all the way from Blackpool to process my non-immigrant visa and I was treated as if I was going to sign on for benefits. Go to the consulate in Hull or London as they are much friendlier and more helpful from previous experience. I’ll never use the Glasgow office again

Used this embassy in Glasgow good few times and will be going in next week, never had any problems. My friend had meeting with Kay for work permit that went well, so no problem using the embassy

A dreadful experience from start to finish. I had called the Consulate at the beginning of September 2016 to enquire about applying for my 1 year non b visa to compliment my Thai work permit that I had recently processed. I had a wedding to attend in Glasgow and thought it would be best to apply at this consulate and kill two birds with one stone so to speak. A lady named Kay told me on the phone this would not be a problem but would need to allow 2-3 days to get approval from the embassy I London. Upon my arrival to Scotland (Oct 3 2016) I emailed Kay again to confirm an appointment with her, and at that time she informed me that, without warning the embassy had revoked her permission to process multi entry visas. There was no updated information about this on their website either. She was of very little help and I found her to be quite condescending and rude when it came to helping me figure out my options. I was forced to apply for a 90 day single entry visa, which is a far cry from what I needed. I am now going to have to book an additional visa run out of Thailand to apply for a full year visa in Malaysia, costing me a fortune and wasting a lot of my time. When I went to process the visa, Kay even denied me a handshake when I outstretched my hand to her. I found her manner appalling and Im Not quite sure what benefit this consulate has to anybody working for living in Thailand. She doesn't even read or speak Thai? Take a tip from me, do yourself a favour and don't deal with this consulate at all. give yourself enough time to use the embassy in London instead, it will save you a lot of headache.
