   I have been a regular user of Trailfinders for a number of years. You only ever find out how good an Insurance Company is by how they deal with claims. In my sons case ,Trailfinders insurance failed miserably. I wont be using them again.

   Very poor customer service. We came in and were initially ignored. Two members of staff were not seeing anyone but still took 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. They informed us that they don't handle holidays to that part of the world so would get the person who did. We waited 10 more minutes before they returned to say that it would be about a 30 minute wait. Okay, no problem. They asked if we had anything else to do in town and we could come back and be seen. We said okay and went to get a coffee. We came back and were again ignored. We have now been sitting for 20 minutes without being approached while at least one member of staff is still free.

   Overall pretty underwhelmed by their service. We had to chase up the advisor two occasions ourselves and push for options on accommodation choices that weren’t initially offered to us. Ended up booking the trip via an advisor in another branch who picked up one of the chaser calls. They were much more helpful with information than the person we spoke to in branch. Would be hesitant about using again on that basis but will wait til after the trip to see how it goes. We didn’t shop around so maybe my expectations were too high but when you’re spending £5k+ on a trip you want good customer service. It hasn’t been bad, just not amazing as so many other reviewers have stated.

   I was a bit overwhelmed with the online stuff but worked it out for myself. The travel insurance was prohibitous. Was put under a bit of pressure to buy it but did not and will shop around for a more reasonable cover

   Normally book holidays myself online but since I was planning a big safari, thought it would be best to get help. Trailfinders were fantastic, Michelle was so helpful and excited for us. We got our visas done by them too, cost a bit extra but it was done right. Highly recommend ☺️

   Bought an expensive trip to St.Lucia - trip of a lifetime we hoped - it went badly wrong. Poor advice to recommend we go there via Barbados where we got caught out (and locked up!) owing to a false-positive COVID test in Barbados. Never got our holiday. To make matters worse, we bought the very expensive Trailfinders Travel Insurance (with Covid cover) but it has been worse than useless. Trailfinders sadly pass their insurance claims to CSA Ltd - whom do not answer ‘phones, do not acknowledge they have the claim and do all they can to never pay out. Claim signed for early March 2022 and we have heard nothing. Further, if you do need help when abroad - there is no help or assistance on the so-called emergency telephone number Trailfinders provide. It was unmanned. Avoid Trailfinders and avoid their insurance at all costs. A total rip off. Update 02 08 2022: Called CSA and got through! They signed Royal Mail receipt for my claim on 22nd March 2022 but confess to having lost my claim and have no record of it! CSA have never contacted me as Trailfinders said they would. Update 29th September 2022: Trailfinders Travel Insurance representatives been ignoring us! No money received! Not only did they lose our original claim paperwork - they now asking for a breakdown of the parts of the package we bought - which we do not have ! DO NOT BUY TRAILFINDERS TRAVEL INSURANCE - IT IS A SCAM.
