   Choosing a nursery is tough, especially for your first child. Initially, I was looking for a setting with great resources and fancy playing area, and I visited several nurseries, including Fennies. I quickly learned that it’s not what’s on the surface or the sheer number of staff that matters most. From the moment I stepped into Magdalene, I knew it was different. A strong team with abundant experience, genuine love for children, and real compassion for giving every child the brightest future is what truly counts..people make the place. Every team member demonstrates a caring, child-centred approach, and this is evident throughout the setting. I’ve had a wonderful journey with both of my children so far and honestly wish they offered primary school funding too! Staff turnover is almost zero, which provides incredible consistency and security for the children. They are thoughtful about what children eat during snack times and take outdoor play very seriously, which I absolutely love. It was important for me that children have access to outdoor play and connect with nature during their time at nursery. I wouldn’t pick any other place over Magdalene’s. I’m so grateful that my child comes home with happy experiences and strong, positive engagement with the adults. Safeguarding is held to the highest standard, and the level of professionalism is second to none. Communication is always there!

   My daughter started here just a few months ago. She has settled in so well! No tears and can’t wait to attend the one day she goes in the week. The preschool has a lovely spacious friendly atmosphere, with welcoming teachers. They keep you well informed and my daughter’s speech has developed more.

   Magdalene preschool is a place where child feels at home. The staff is wonderful, caring, supportive, adjusting and there will not be enough words to describe. My little one has enjoyed every day she has spent here and for her all staff are like her extended friends and family. This shows the positive impact each members has on the children. I love the termly review and effort they put in to ensure each child is thriving but at their own pace and if someone needs an extra push or challenge they are always ready to provide that. All activities in the preschool are hands on and children learn such brilliant life skills. The Indore and outdoor play area is amazing and so well thought-out and has a variety of small and big things for the children to play with. My little one always has a number of stories to share.

   My 4 year old daughter attends Magdalene Pre-School Nursery, and we absolutely love it. The nursery has a wonderful, spacious environment with great indoor and outdoor play areas. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring, and supportive. My daughter enjoys going every day, and we have seen her grow so much since joining. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, happy, and nurturing place for their child.

   I am delighted with Magdalene Preschool. My twins have had an amazing experience, because the team plan all the time around the interests and they have learned so much through play following the EYFS. My twins are so happy and look forward to go to preschool every day. They are more confident, independent and the team have prepared them well for Reception. I was amazed about how the Early Years Educators really care about my twins in all aspects of their development. The Manager is excellent in her role with strong leadership. The team have excellent communication with strong policies in place for each situation. The Deputy Manager has a strong understanding about children's behaviour and the most important they have guided me with different strategies for the best outcome.

   This is the best of the best in my opinion! The staff are incredibly well organised, caring and communicative with parents. You never have to worry about your children when they are there- you just feel relaxed knowing they are in such safe hands! Their garden is spacious too and the children get to go out no matter the weather. They really teach them how to be responsible for themselves so the transition to primary school is as smooth as possible. They help the children to develop really important social skills as well as assisting them with learning their letters and numbers etc. Both of my boys absolutely loved their time there and I couldn't have asked for a better start for them!

   Magdalene preschool is superb! They have an amazing team. I have two children who has attended this preschool and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff are warm and caring and supportive towards my children's development. My children's key persons always communicate well on my children learning journey and it is wonderful to see photos of my little ones enjoying the activities they provide at the preschool. It has a spacious, wonderful outdoor area. So pleased to be part of Magdalene preschool. I wouldn’t send them anywhere else!

   An amazing preschool! All 3 of my children have gone to Magdalenes and I honestly wouldn’t send them anywhere else! From the moment they start till the moment they finish they are cared for, full of life and encouraged as individuals. From role play to singing, outdoor play to reading books they have so much to do. They have a massive outdoor space which provides great experiences for the children. The teachers all bring something individual to the children and all of the children are fond of each and every one of them. Communication is easy and understanding. I couldn’t ask for a nicer group of ladies to look after my children. I will be very sad when my daughter leaves in September for school. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a home from home type preschool. Also now they are open longer my daughter is a big fan of staying for lunch.
