βI've been training here for over a year and I'm having a really positive experience. The coaches are so friendly and welcoming which shapes the overall environment and atmosphere of the gym. Location is easy to get to and they have a variety of classes throughout the day. I highly recommend this place to everyone, but especially to women who are thinking about starting a martial art.β
βMy children have been learning to swim with Aqua Skills for the last five years and I wouldnβt use any other swim school. Theyβve had group lessons, 1:1 and 1:2 lessons and the standard of teaching is excellent. All of the instructors are friendly, patient and committed to securing progress. Unlike other swim schools in the area, group lessons are small and for beginner groups the instructors and their assistants are in the water. In our experience Aqua skills have also been brilliant at helping children to build confidence in the water and overcome any anxieties about certain addicts of learning to swim. The owners are also present at sessions and teaching sometimes themselves. Theyβre thoroughly lovely people and fantastic at what they do.β
βI can confidently say after four years on the Digital Arts course here at Brit, (from Year 10 to Year 13) that it is a tremendous place for creatives. Digital Arts is without a doubt, one of the highest levels of education available to any young, creative minded individual. The standard of work you will learn to make in Digital Arts could be considered comparable to University level. Another important consideration when selecting an institution is the staff. At Brit, they are nothing but professional, welcoming and supportive always. Going the extra mile and sharing their extensive knowledge and experience is normal practice for Digital Arts staff at Brit. I will also mention that the facility's on the Digital Arts course are excellent and provide Industry standard software and resources guaranteed. This course choice was one of the best decisions of my life hands down, I can't express how much I would encourage anyone to join this course.β
βOnce Upon a Time best nursery with caring and friendly staff. Thank you for your incredible care, patience, and guidance. Youβve helped our little Katerina grow with confidence, curiosity, and kindness. We truly appreciate everything you do! xxxβ
βMy sons have attend the nursery one is shy and the other very lively and not so shy! The nursery has been really good in teaching and using creativity. My son is always bring home drawings and creations and loves seeing them at home. He really loved a counting book that nursery made that he brought home. Really helped with his counting. Staff are friendly and responsive to parents questions.β
βOur daughter dances at Caterham Dance School with Clara and Damian and their reputation for excellence is very well-deserved. From trying out a cha cha in the children's beginner class, through to competing in juvenile ballroom and latin competitions, they have been really supportive at every step - tailoring teaching and advice on technique to her abilities as they develop, and continuing to inspire her love of dance!β
βMy daughter started here just a few months ago. She has settled in so well! No tears and canβt wait to attend the one day she goes in the week. The preschool has a lovely spacious friendly atmosphere, with welcoming teachers. They keep you well informed and my daughterβs speech has developed more.β
Croydon Tae Kwon Do is a long-standing martial arts institution situated on Shirley Church Road, serving the local Croydon community. For over two decades, this club has provided a structured and supportive environment for practitioners of all ages. The academy specializes in traditional Tae Kwon Do, offering classes that range from beginner levels to advanced black belt training. Specialized programs for children as young as four focus on developing discipline, manners, and physical coordination.
βMy daughter loves Spolights! She always enjoys her weekly classes, learning acting, singing and dancing from excellent teachers, and she gets so excited to be part of the amazing shows that they put on. We Will Rock You, her latest show, was a thoroughly professional and wonderful experience both for her and for us a a well entertained audience! Can't wait for the next one!β
βLatinFlow is an amazing community tucked in the heart of Croydon. A year ago I walked into a class knowing nobody there and only having done a single salsa taster 15 years before. One year on I have found lovely group of people who I look forward to seeing every week, and have had what I suspect will be a lifelong love of salsa fostered. Agnesa is an incredibly supportive teacher who takes you from absolute beginner to being confident with all of the basic steps, then hands you over to Thalia and Pedro who can guide you all the way up to expert standard. I cannot recommend this class highly enough.β
βLovely music school and amazing teachers. I really liked the way the course is built up to engage students and increase their confidence, at a good, steady pace. My daughter loves attending the classes. The teachers are very knowledgeable and finding different ways to support parents.β
βI've been a member of Croydon SoG since the age of 3. Now 30 years on, I am now a coach at the club and am one of the longest serving members. In a nutshell I've learnt so much from our Head Coach Jackie Lewis from being a gymnast to becoming a coach. She has mentored me all through my coaching qualifications and I'm still learning! I have a disability (Asperger's and Dyspraxia) so for me learning takes a lot longer but I have always felt included and gymnastics has given me so many opportunities I would otherwise never have had if it wasn't for the club and Jackie. From the first day Jackie entered me into my first competition, I was hooked. I eventually earned my place on the Disabilities National Squad which I was part of for over a decade and represented the club at national and international events. I became a British Champion in 2005 and became overall World Silver Medalist Silver with 2 apparatus golds at the Special Olympics World Games in Athens in 2011. The club is a great place for gymnasts and coaches and has a real family feel. Its open to everyone young or old and caters for all levels including children with disabilities and has a class for adults too. I highly recommend the club to anyone who wants to give their child a an opportunity to take part and perhaps go on to become a competitor in this wonderful sport. Gymnastics sets you up for life, physically, mentally and teaches you life skills as well.β
βI highly recommend this nursery to anyone. The nursery staff was incredibly helpful and supportive with my son to progress and get him ready for reception. Miss Kerry was my sonβs βsuper hero β. She was always kind and happy to offer a hug to him when he was crying because he missed his mummyβ¦ Thank you Loving Hands nursery for giving to my son the opportunity to have a fantastic time!β
βMy son started nursery there and I just move my daughter she is in year 1, she loves the teachers and the school that's what makes me comfortable and happy when you see your children love a school. Very caring teachers and very discipline school.β
βGreat teaching and support, my son attended for 10+ classes and secured a place a Whitgift School. He enjoyed the small group setting and teaching style. Always had constructive feedback that he could work on and develop. He was actually keen to continue the classes even after securing his place. Highly recommend!β
βMy daughters both attend the childrenβs taekwondo here and are both very happy and love their classes and instructors. Great environment and reasonably priced. As I parent I feel very happy to have found croydon taekwondo and love watching my children grow and thrive under fantastic tuition Would highly recommendβ

βUsed for a 8yr old kids birthday with the footie dude, Ben Judge. What a legend he was! Super friendly and attentive and inclusive to the kiddies. Really made the day special. Rest of the venue is clean and lots of parking and easy to find. Recommended.β
βAttended a child's birthday party event here. Was thoroughly impressed with the swimming pool, good size, clean, warm temperature, lots of floats and things for the kids to play with, excellent safety and a nice little room on the side where they cut the cake and had a little party. Overall really impressed. Oh and the grounds for the school are lovely too! Easy parking available as well.β

βI had they greatest time of my life thereβ
βWe have been so pleased with this nursery. Our son started in Explorers 5 months ago and all staff have been so kind and caring towards him. We get regular updates on his progress and he experiences fun and engaging activities every day. Itβs made the transition to returning to work much easier knowing heβs in such good hands.β
βI like that it's so easy to learn at downsveiw.β
βAmazing school and very good staff.β
βI went to this school, back in 1986-93 although I didn't like school, I wouldnβt fault it, the teachers did a brilliant job, it can't have been easy and the head teacher was good as well, remembering all of the pupils names, I have trouble remembering my own children's names, so to remember how ever many pupils were there at the time I was there, he must have had a good memory.β
βAn absolutely brilliant nursery with lovely staff who toke amazing care of of the children. We have sent both of our 2 daughters to Tunstall Nursery over the last 5 years and have been super happy with it. From day one we knew it was a safe loving place to leave our kids. If there were more stars than 5 to leave I would leave more!β
βTHANK YOU, Olive tree nursery for giving us the opportunity to have a fantastic time for my children. Staff and management Accomodate needs for the best of children when they are not settling, getting to know them well and communicating concerns to parents for early intervention, as well as encouraging them eating and becoming Independent and ready for school. My children still remember their nursery and share good memories with lots of artwork and activities they did every week.β
βAbsolutely phenomenal school. My brother just started y7 and has had a change in attitude. This a good school for your child.β
βOut of all Nurseries we looked at we decided to go with Fennies. I am truly impressed with the care and patience of the staff. Our daughter enjoys her time a lot at the nursery and is always excited to go there. We really thought she would not want us to leave and cry when we drop her off in the morning, but it turns out she loves to play with other children and enjoys all the activities at Fennies. Truly recommended.β
βFrom my point of view on Whitgift, it did seem to be fairly large and good, with new sports hall and labs and DT/IT stuffs. Teachers are really nice (but a few) and education is at a high standard. There is school tuck shop around the school ground, with direct payment in school canteen.β
