“This nursery was incredible- I've never known a nursery to have as much heart as this one. The flexibility, kindness and energy of the staff was wonderful and my little girl was so excited to go in every day and to tell me what she'd been up to when she got home. The creative art projects and end of term parties and Christmas and leaving gifts were beyond anything I had expected. We are genuinely quite emotional to be moving on! “My son loves it here - so much that he now tells me “no go home, stay forest school”. The staff are extremely motivated to give each child the best learning and play experiences, and they are also very caring. They teach respect and emotional resilience incredibly well. Activities include walks looking for forest treasures, bug hunts, mud play, rolling down grassy (or muddy!) slopes, crafts, woodwork, campfire singing, games, cosy story-times under canvas, and picnics.”

“I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”
