I started training at South Side Kings (SSK) at close to 30 years old, thinking I might be too old for BJJ, or martial arts if I have no previous experience and I am not fit. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From day one, Frankie and Steve made me feel welcome and supported. The atmosphere is friendly, the coaching is top-notch, and the classes are well-structured for all levels. I’ve learnt so much in a short time and reached a level I never thought possible. Brilliant place to train MMA and no-gi BJJ. Frank and Steve and Josh are really committed, no-nonsense instructors who make all sessions really enjoyable. Gym has showers, sauna for recovery and a beer/ water fridge for some post-sparring hydration ;)

I took my son Hugo there not long ago. The Kings and the great kids that go there really helped to bring him out of his shell. Gutted i don't live closer. I'd love Hugo to be a regular, really good for his physical confidence.
