    Went to collect click and collect parcel, bought other items. Service at tills is awful. Two ladies leave the till to search for parcel, other customers left waiting whilst young girl stands with her back to customers hanging up clothes. Self service till ran out of paper, no help given there either. Absolute disgrace

    What an absolute dump. The store is a complete mess. Like a rubbish tip. The staff also barely spoke to me when, not even serving me but just pointing at the self service checkout. Stood there doing nothing watching me do it myself.

    I usually find what I'm looking for in Matalan so decided to call in. I shall not be returning. The fitting room was very dirty with lots of fluffy dust and bits of paper. The staff member was apathetic and wasn't focussed on customer service. At the checkout I was a bit confused and asked a staff member if she could deal with my sale and she looked disengaged and said 'uh, what? I asked if she understood English and she said 'oh, sorry, I've literally just come on'. To top off the experience she bundled my purchases into a heap. I am very disappointed with this dreadful service.
