We attened as guests and this guy was the DJ. Never shuts up, totally boring and needs to learn how to read a crowd. We did want to hopefully speak to the dj about doing our party but not after listening to his drivel
Fantastic communication We hired Robert for our wedding @ The doubletree by Hilton @ Queensferry crossing on 20/10/2024 and we are glad we did! Robert from mobile sounds disco was fantastic from the start of the planning of our wedding right up until the evening of our wedding ceremony. When enquiring with mobile sounds disco Robert contacted me back pretty much straightaway and communication from him was great. He involved us in the planning of our disco by asking us to provide a list of songs that our guests would dance too. During our evening ceremony Robert made it fun by playing a game of Mr and Mrs as well as bride vs groom. We absolutely loved the bridal party walk in! What can I say, excellent doesn't do them justice. Having been let down at the last minute by another DJ, Robert offered to come and DJ our wedding reception despite having originally taken the night off as he was up early to go to a wedding fair the next morning. Communication was amazing, he worked with us to plan out the event, making sure he had all the correct details and names, all the songs we wanted and made sure there wasn't anything he shouldn't be playing. On the night he was set up quickly, was speaking to everyone who needed to be spoken to, liasing with the caterers, and venue staff, and helping make the whole organisation of the event super smooth. The entrance of the wedding party, and the Mr and Mrs game are genius. I have to admit to having been nervous about it all, but it was a lot of fun and was a major highlight of the evening. All the guests commented that they loved it and it was so much more than just playing music. Robert made the whole evening come together, played some great tunes, and really created the best atmosphere. It was a pleasure to work with him and we would reccomend Mobile Sounds Disco to everyone.

Had a brilliant night for my 30th a few weeks ago with Mobile Sounds Disco. Played all the songs we requested and kept people on the dance floor all night. There was a few people couldn’t make it cause of the snow that night but appreciated Robert making the journey when it was a bit of a mission in the snow! Thank you for making my birthday one to remember.
Robert was absolutely amazing for our wedding. We loved the Mr & Mrs game. He played all the songs on our playlist, played requests and was so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend him and am delighted we booked him for our special day.
Totally happy with our DJ Robert for a family wedding afterparty. Good quality sounds, atmospheric party lighting with personalised gobo, Mr & Mrs game, happy to incorporate playlist and took requests. Just what we hoped for and a little bit more. Reasonably priced. Top night, would highly recommend. Fully deserving of the 5 stars.
I have to say from the first phone call Robert at Mobile Sounds put me at ease. He sent over a checklist just to ack as a guide and we found it very useful in the end We asked our guests for a song which was an excellent idea, before the first dance he surprised us with a quick Mr and Mrs Robert kept the music low for the start and played a few games and dances fit the kids, while we supervised from our drinking table 5 star service and will be sharing with my friends if they need a disco for a party or weddings Joan
Great DJ! We hired Mobile Sounds Disco for my mums 60th birthday party in September I found him through Facebook. Nothing was too much trouble before the event he asked what kind of music my mum liked so he could cater it for her taste he played a good variety of music all night He made it very personal which was great! Communication prior to the party was really efficient and professional! The price was really reasonable too! Would highly recommend Carrie Sneddon
