I was referred for a cardiac scan and an ECG at the Kerry Jane Hogg Department at Stobhill Ambulatory Hospital, where I was subsequently seen by the cardiology consultant, Dr Joanne Lindsayl, to discuss my results. I cannot adequately express how caring and thorough she was throughout my appointment. This is the first consultant I have encountered who demonstrated such genuine concern for my wellbeing. When my tests showed no evidence of a cardiac cause for my symptoms, yet my shortness of breath persisted, she immediately arranged a chest scan on the same day to investigate further. This proactive approach saved me months of waiting for a referral through my GP. Patient’s seeing her at the Stobhill are genuine so lucky because they are well looked after. I am extremely grateful for her professionalism, kindness, and dedication to patient care. Canan Gurgur

Went to the Hospital for a follow up appointment. The ophthalmology department particularly. Everybody was so lovely! I was explained kindly where to go for tests, nurses and doctors were all very caring. I didn’t feel dismissed like I have in other hospitals/GP practices. Everyone was very kind and honestly made me feel very calm. I normally get anxious at hospital appointments specially because of previous bad experiences. So thank you so much for having been so kind today!

Had an appointment here for Ultrasound. Last Time I was here was over 15 years ago. A nice new building for the main hospital, very similar to New Victoria, housing the main outpatient services. Would normally go to Victoria, but earlier appointment was for here. That's the NHS for you!

I went to this facility with my wife. Who had a simple issue regarding her stomach. After the initial consultation. The doctor requested that I get documents while he does a more intimate examination of my wife. I politely declined the request and admitted that a female chaperone would make the procedure simpler. The doctor with glasses and a bald head became overwhelmed with frustration and reported me to the police whoe were banging on my window at 5 o'clock in the morning. Thanks for your help

My husband and I would like to thank the staff at the day surgery unit for the care he received. He said they showed total professionalism and kindness, from Mr Cameron Elias Jones, and the anaesthetist who he never got his name to all the nurses and healthcare support workers, who he thought where genuinely caring and friendly. He appreciated all their help which made his hospital journey a smooth one. You are all stars!

Care and treatment at the Minor Injuries Unit was excellent; five stars for all staff. At reception, Sean was smiling, helpful and efficient - this was appreciated, and reassuring. After a well conducted X ray, the nurse Chris gave a clear explanation of the injury, and good practical advice. His manner was careful, kind and considerate. This attitude of kindness, and professionalism from reception and nursing staff makes such a big difference, when a patient is in pain. Many thanks.
