   We are now in our 8th year at the school having had our eldest start in reception and gone all the way through to Year 6. Our youngest daughter is currently in Year 2. We chose the Prep primarily because of its nurturing and welcoming environment, small class sizes and catholic ethos. The staff are caring and invested in the girls - they treat them with respect and love, instilling confidence (but not arrogance) and encouraging them to grow into mature young women. The non-selective nature of the school appealed to us as it means our girls have had the opportunity to mix with girls of all abilities. We might add that non-selective does not mean non-academic. The girls are stretched and challenged where appropriate and our eldest daughter received offers from all of her secondary school choices. In fact her cohort did extremely well in the 11+ with offers and scholarships from a wide range of secondaries. The school offers a variety of after school clubs and has a great sport and music provision. The standard of teaching is excellent and the feeling of community within the school is strong. If you are looking for a school that is nurturing, inclusive and will support your daughter in being the best version of herself then look no further than the Ursuline Prep. It’s not a hothouse like some of the other schools in the locality and perhaps get overlooked by many for that reason but it’s been absolutely the right choice for us and our girls. They love going to school, are happy and learning. What more could you ask for?!

   The school is a very warm and nurturing environment for young girls. With small class sizes, children receive great care and attention and our daughter really thrived. She was so happy there, we were hugely impressed with the high standards of education. Our son also loved the nursery, we have very happy memories of the school and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

   We love the school, it is such calm and happy environment. The girls always feel listened to and cared for. Smaller classes allow the girls to get a lot of individual attention, they make excellent progress and their curriculum is full of interesting enriching activities.
