Dr Adnan Tariq Endocrinologist Consultant was unprofessional. On meeting Dr Tariq he did not introduce himself which i thought odd as every other doctor i have met always introduces themselves. Ok i knew who he was as i booked the appointment but its professional to introduce yourself. The consultation consisted of Dr Tariq chewing gum throughout and he failed to listen to what i was trying to tell him. In the end i gave up trying to explain myself as he was not listening.Dr Tariq wanted a list of blood tests done even though i told him most of them had already been done and had been normal. I was getting the impression he was just trying to generate more money by trying to push the tests. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. When i received the letter from Dr Tariq regarding my visit the details in it were wrong which just proved to me he was not listening. The GP details were wrong as I had provided my GP details but it was addressed to a GP I have never seen and at one point my name was spelled wrong. He stated i had impaired fasting when i specifically told him the levels were consistent with a diagnosis of diabetes according to NHS guidelines so raised not low. I will now have to go and see my GP and explain that the details in the letter are wrong and see if they can help. So if anyone is looking for an Endocrinologist i would not recommend Dr Tariq, I would say save your money and look for someone else as your consultation will be brief and most likely you will not receive an outcome except be out of pocket.

While the medical treatment I received was first class, I was neither impressed by the friendliness and competence of the reception staff nor had I been given any useful prior information about payment plans, before my visit. As result, I found that I had to pay in full for my treatment, rather than being able to spread my payments, interest free, over a few months which I had, from the website, believed I could do. It had not been pointed out to me that I'd have to apply for a loan. This I discovered on the morning of my cataract removal when I was phoned for payment - this was on the day following my initial consultation. Finally I was assured that I would receive a fallow up call a few days later to see if all was well with my eyes. Over two weeks on, I'm still waiting! It seems as if, as long as they have my money, they don't care.

Dr Robert Anderson was an amazing consultant, I would like to thank him greatly for giving me hope with what felt like a very long battle with gastroparesis going undiagnosed for 8 years, and I finally got the diagnoses I needed. He made me feel very heard and was incredibly compassionate about my issues. Before my diagnoses I felt very destroyed and at a dead end of where else to go to get help, Dr Anderson had changed all that for me and I can’t thank him enough for his help. I recommend anyone with medical issues to see Dr Anderson, who is not only very professional but incredibly compassionate and caring about his patients. Thank you so much again, from Tracy MacEachen.

I saw Dr Vladimir Revicky recently and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. I felt genuinely listened too and he was emotionally intelligent (after months and months of feeling dismissed and being made to feel silly by other doctors) which can be hard to come by, especially in women's health. He explained everything very thoroughly and was very upfront about costs too. The nurses and staff were also very nice and caring. Couldn't recommend him more.

I would recommend Nurse Alison Logan for removing my stitches from my eyes. She was so gentle I never felt a thing. She also took time to make me feel so comfortable and I was very impressed with her professional knowledge. She went the extra mile explaining in detail my after care. She really does have excellent customer care and treated me like I truly mattered which made me feel so cared for! Thank you Alison, I really appreciated your care. What an excellent Nurse!!!!

I always felt from the first moment I walked into the hospital for my sons consultation that he was in the hands of dedicated caring professionals. I would heartily recommend them to anyone. At all times they went above and beyond. The level of service, care and communication has been amazing throughout the whole experience. (speaking to the lovely Claire on the phone)to the surgeon (Ms Espeso) and all of the nurses and administration. The whole team work together to make my son feel relaxed and cared for.

I've been attending Rosshall Braehead for my consultations and have to say the service is nothing short of exceptional. The consultants are extremely thorough and explained all my options to me. I opted for surgery and after 1 week i had all my consulations and surgery and was told it would be at least 24 months on NHS.

Terrible experience. If I could award 0 stars I would. I made a query about a dermatological treatment online and was immediately contacted by an operator to book an appointment with a consultant dermatologist. I stated during my call the type of treatment I wanted as I had researched it thoroughly beforehand. I asked if it was available at Ross Hall and was told to book a consultation. During the approximately 5 minute consultation with the dermatologist I was told the treatment I required was the one that I had already researched extensively and requested on my initial call. However, I was told it wasn’t offered at the clinic and I would need to book a consultation elsewhere. I was, however, still invoiced for the full price of the consultation, £204. I think it is completely unethical to book a consultation for someone requesting a specific type of treatment when that treatment is not offered by the clinic. I am beyond disgusted and would certainly not recommend anyone visit Ross Hall for any dermatological issues.

Got a referral to go here for a consultation in October with the ENT department about having a tonsillectomy done after being palmed off by my gp for months . I cannot tell how good it was to have someone actually listen to me . Mr Chin was very thorough and put me at ease straight away . I had the op done 10 days ago & I’m well on my way with recovery . The old saying goes “ you get what you pay for “ this is definitely the case with Ross hall . The nurses and staff were excellent both at Braehead & the hospital at Crookston RD where the operation was carried out . Would recommend 100%

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience at Ross Hall Clinic. I saw a dermatologist and had patch testing done. Initial appointment with the doctor felt incredibly rushed, I did not feel listened to and instead felt patronised. It did not help that the doctor had an alarm going off on her phone throughout the appointment, and took a call from reception too. I did not have a chance to go through the questions I had, as she was literally standing over me trying to get me out the door. I left the appointment very upset and had a cry outside the clinic as I felt so frustrated. Not the experience you want when you're paying £180 for an appointment. Team at reception messed up my patch testing schedule, booking me in for Wednesday and Friday, with a phone follow-up with the doc for Monday. They did not explain that Monday was to be another in-person appointment, and turns out they usually would book testing for Mon, Weds and Fri. My first appointment on Wednesday was 30 minutes late. There was also major confusion about my follow-up appointments and they had to ring the doctor to ensure she could see me as planned. Turns out they had in fact double-booked the doctor and had a hassle trying to squeeze me in for Monday. Very stressful. Follow-up appointment with doc was similar to my initial consultation. Very rushed and patronising. I have seen all sorts of consultants for various things through the years and where I never expect them to offer a magic solution or even deliver good news, I do expect them to listen with compassion and give their attention fully. This goes so far when it comes to how the patient feels about their situation and prospects.
