Our daughter joined the Cavendish School in year 3 and is now at the end of year 6. We couldn’t be happier with the education and support she has received from all the teachers and the head, Ms Rogers. Our daughter has benefitted from the excellent and caring SEN learning support team, who have supported her and given so much time and encouragement. Our daughter has loved her time at this school and leaves happy and confident. Cavendish truly feels and acts as a family and we will be sad to leave.

Both of my daughters go to the Cavendish and they couldn't be happier. They absolutely love it and skip to school, skip home and talk about school endlessly during the holidays. They learn without even really knowing that they are there to learn - they basically think they go there to have fun. As a parent I was sold on my first tour of the school quite a few years ago under the previous head Miss Dunbar. The school felt incredibly warm and welcoming then and still feels the same way now - warm and inclusive whilst still delivering massively at the end when the leaving year 6 girls are confident, happy, well prepared and ready to attend some of the best secondary schools in the country. I really couldn't be happier.

The Cavendish for me stands out because of its genuine warm nature. Every morning you are greeted by name from the wonderful Dave, a truly multi talented man who with his smile and good morning wishes, bright umbrellas and famous hats adds a skip to every girls day. This genuine embrace just keeps coming. The office staff lead by the legendary Mrs Jones and Veronica are truly adored. The girls love to make any excuse just to linger a bit longer in their company. Poor Mrs Jones has a tough time getting any work done with the plethora of girls eager to pay her a visit. My daughters have had wonderful time at the Cavendish with teachers who make every day a fun place to learn. The staff at the Cavendish are a group of talented, very caring and special people in our opinion. Miss Rogers, the head, has always dropped what she is doing when we had any problems and with lightning swiftness moving everything to find solutions. We are very grateful for her help. I think the Cavendish has been a wonderful school for us and will stay a special place for my girls.

Both of my daughters attend The Cavendish School and have done since Nursery. They have loved, and still continue to love every second of their time there. As a family we couldn't ask for any more support from a school, in terms of their education and personal development. All of the staff at the school under the leadership and guidance of Ms Rogers ensure that the girls grow and develop with an amazing sense of self and awareness of the world. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made sending my daughters here.. I just wish my son could go!

I felt impelled to write in full agreement with these five star reviews. I've known the Cavendish School for years - many children and families, and both my daughters were there. We chose it specifically because it was non-selective. For both children it provided a stimulating academic environment and they went on to academic secondary schools fully prepared. Standouts for us were science, music and drama. Pastoral care was fantastic but most of all it had a wonderfully happy atmosphere. My children loved it. We all miss it!
