Got took in and seen after fall got checked over then told by a foreign doctor not to use the place like a hotel what I found shocking
Everything wrong with the NHS: Two stalls in the gents toilets, one out of order and one with a puddle of urine No soap in any of the dispensers. Reported this and no one bothered cleaning after an hour or two. Receptionist was told the reason why we were there. Only after waiting for 2 hours to be seen, did a nurse see us to then tell us the receptionist should have sent us straight through to x-rays, as we told them they were expecting us. NHS can pay £60k/year for a diversity officer but can't even get the basics right. Disgraceful.
Went in 2 hours early for appointment..because of all the road disruptions in Glasgow and never been to Paisley,didn't see any cafes or vending machines ,to pass time till appointment so sat in waiting room didn't realise about the ticket thing one we realized an hour and 15 mins later went up gave them my ticket within 2 minutes my name was called and I was out and in a taxi back to Glasgow before my appointment. Very well organised department,swift ,plesent and very helpful staff and nurses and doctors and everyone involved in that department are an amazing team! We ell done ,there was a smile one everyone's face leaving ,because of the friendly atmosphere the staff created
Went there with an eye injury, very painful with headaches, went in and seated by 10:56pm. Not busy at, waited for two hour, still not been seen by a nurse, does NHS not have a target to meet? Something like tried to get everyone seem within half and hour, I understand they were all busy, but when there is not a lot of patients, why not speed up a wee bit and prioritise who needed urgent treatment to go in first, not happy at all
Been at the A&E at 2am in the morning with my partner, waited until 5am and noone said anything. I asked them about my partner and they said there is noone in that name inside..until they managed to remember that they called him in from the waiting room. 5 am they started to do checks on him and when they finished they just forgot about him again and he had to call them to ask what is going on..if he can go home..only to find out they were not even at their desk anymore and he was left looking for them and ended up leaving. There was only 2 more patients apart from him in.
No waiting seen by doctor within 5 minutes.
I had damaged my leg and needed it looked at quickly. I went into A&E, gave my details and took a seat. The wait to be seen was about 20 minutes. I was then placed on a trolley in a cubicle, looked at a couple more times and then moved to a ward for a week. Staff were professional and the department looked clean. From start to finish the whole process was much quicker than most other hospital A&Es I've been to.
Got fairly quickly seen but has a permanent police presence at weekends.
