Recently registered with practice and unfortunately had to use services Phone call triage Appointment given for same day Staff couldn’t have been more helpful
Terrible experience. My symptoms were dismissed twice and wrongly diagnosed, which led to an A&E. To make things worse, the practice lost my test sample. Completely unacceptable care.
Called Monday morning, seen the same morning by Doctor Connelly and a course of action sorted. Staff friendly and helpful
Attended an "appointment" at 810am this morning to have annual blood pressure check and bloods taken... a facility which the practice "strongly encourages" me to attend. After waiting nine minutes beyond my appointment time, I was approached, not by a nurse but, by an admin representitive. It quickly became clear that I was unlikely to be seen by a medical professional as the representitive tried to re-introduce me to a particularly poor self-service blood pressure machine... at this point I enquired as to whether I would be able to have bloods taken today, he had failed to inform me this would not be happening, to which he replied, " we will probably need to have you back in to get your bloods done". No explanation in advance, certainly no form of apology or appreciation for the inconvenience and definitely no alternative solution offered. I considered there to be no point in continuing the farcical process of measuring my own blood pressure at this point, can do that at home. A 6am rise, a morning off work after a twelve hour shift and 10pm finish the previous day to be met with an inept, bordering on defensive approach from the practice staff.
This Practice is like night and day compared to others I have been registered with over the years. Anytime I have needed to speak to, or see a DR, it's always been same day. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a very well run Practice.
Excellent service from this practice. Hearing stories of other practices makes you appreciate the doctors and staff. They are kind and caring and very thorough under such trying circumstances. I am very grateful for their dedication aunder such difficult circumstances
Don't waste your time with this lot, worse practice in Coatbridge they are absolutely useless and the Dr's just look down upon people and have such a bad attitude like there owed something!
Absolutely shocking service, we have 4 boots chemist in Airdrie after asking everytime to have my script sent to bank St boots, I spend most of the day trawling through and waiting in queues only to be told, "sorry we don't have anything for you" Reception staff are extremely rude, doctors are very very short with you, there's no patient care. To give you an idea, I was No 63 in the Telephone queue. I was hung up at position 9 and had to start the whole sorry experience all over again. This is tip of the iceberg. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Waverley is an excellent practice. My husband and I have found each doctor to be thorough, caring and conscientious. This attitude has continued throughout the pandemic period. We are very happy and grateful about the care that we receive. Thank you.
