However, pain is a great motivator & I arrived an anxious crying mess, only to be calmed down & reassured, by genuinely caring staff. My treatment plan was clearly explained & long appointments were booked so I could relax & co-operate. Another barrier that had prevented me from going was anxiety over the cost of treatment. However, the cost was very affordable, considering the extensive work I needed doing. So calling all fellow Gen Xers who were traumatised by the school dentist back in the '70's, these guys genuinely understand the emotional damage created by old school dentistry. “Even thought they were extremely busy, I went in due to contact being stuck in eye. They calmed me down, reassured me and check eyes with dye. No lens but I had scraped eye in removal process. He gave me drops and advice. Found dried out lens on floor when I got home, but I was really scared when I thought it was still in. I appreciate so much, that they examined my eye.
