   The optician who carried out my eye test (Kelly Valenti, Coatbridge branch) was very informative. So much so that I didn't need to ask too many questions, but when I did, her answers were easily understood. Likewise, she explained each part of the procedure as it was being carried out in a clear manner. When it transpired that my prescription hadn't changed to any significant degree, I didn't feel pressured into purchasing new glasses.

Your optometrist, June, made the examination a simple procedure and when I picked up my new glasses they didn’t require any modifications thanks to Jennifer who made repeated measurements and adjustments to check their accuracy and ensure a perfect fit at the time of purchase

   Staff were so friendly, and more than helpful talking me through the different lense coatings available for my glasses - especially for day to day driving, and reaction glasses for taking on holiday. They were able to order my contacts in at the same time as my appointment so I didn’t have to make multiple trips during the week to order and collect everything.

   The experience on the whole, was very pleasant. I received a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. The optician who was performing my eye test was very polite and spoke with such a soft and understanding voice. Everything was explained in detail and I was made to feel comfortable at all times. My daughter is due her eye check up and I will be returning to the Coatbridge store with her, based on the service I received myself.

   Even thought they were extremely busy, I went in due to contact being stuck in eye. They calmed me down, reassured me and check eyes with dye. No lens but I had scraped eye in removal process. He gave me drops and advice. Found dried out lens on floor when I got home, but I was really scared when I thought it was still in. I appreciate so much, that they examined my eye. So good of them all. Its a great branch - Coatbridge.

   I want to update my review to reflect the full experience I had an eye test booked for Monday and unfortunately I did receive a bad experience and after complaining I received a phone call Tuesday from the store manager June and she apologised for the bad experience. We rebooked for Friday. The experience Friday was night and day as everyone seemed to be in great spirits. Everyone was very friendly and great help and was 100% how every other time I’ve been to specsavers has been will be back again.

   Absolutely loving my new glasses. Loving the new appointment system due to COVID and feel very safe in the shop. Had my new glasses slimmed down and an anti glare film put on them. I'd definitely recommend this added cost.
